IS GOD IN CONTROL?

“God will be lawful in everything. Lucifer is the god of this world and God will allow him to run it…”

“But God is in control!” I cannot tell you how many times I have seen that comment under posts describing war, chaos and End-Times Prophecy. It seems, that for some, the idea that God is in control provides comfort in ignorance. Many seem to believe that they do not have to think or study because, “God is in Control.”

That brings two questions to mind:

  1. If that is true, is it an excuse for ignorance?
  2. Is it True? Is God really in control?

Let us briefly consider the first question. Scripture tells us what to watch for and Jesus, repeatedly commanded us to watch. I believe that to choose ignorance is a sin. If Scripture tells us what to watch for and Jesus commands us to watch, not to watch is to live in sin and rebellion, daily disobeying the direct command of Jesus Christ. Let us assume, for a moment, that God really is in total control, micromanaging every detail of current events. Does that fact excuse those who refuse to watch? I do not think so. “God is in control,” is not an excuse for willful ignorance.

What about the second question, is God really in total control of everything? We need to look at that question from two different perspectives:

  1. Eternal
  2. Day to day

From an eternal perspective, the answer is certainly yes. God is outside of time. He sees the end from the beginning. When time comes to an end, everything will have turned out exactly as He planned in the eternal past, before He created time. God will have his way. Every prophecy of the Book will be fulfilled. In that sense, God is in control.

I am going to propose however, that most of what happens in the world, on a daily basis, is not under God’s control but rather, under control of Lucifer, who is, according to the Bible, “the god of this world.” On a local basis, some things are the result of demonic activity but most things that happen are a result of the sinful actions of sinful people.

Adam was the first “god of this world.” God gave Adam dominion over the world and everything in it. When Adam sinned, that title, and all the authority that goes with it, was given to the Nachash, Satan, the Devil, Lucifer or whatever you would call him. When Jesus came, the Devil took him to a high place and showed him all the Kingdoms of the earth. Satan offered those kingdoms, with all the riches and power associated with them, to Jesus, if Jesus would only bow down and worship him. Jesus, we know, refused the offer. What He did not do was to challenge the Devil’s legal authority or ability to carry through on his promise. Jesus accepted Lucifer as the rightful god of this world.

Matthew 4: 8 Again, the Devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 And he said to Him, “I will give You all these things if You will fall down and worship me.”

If God was in control, in the way that many assume, Jesus would have called Satan’s bluff. Jesus would have laughed at the Devil… “My Father controls everything… You can’t do that!” But, for the moment, Satan does have that authority and he is, very much, in control.

God will be lawful in everything. Lucifer is the god of this world and God will allow him to run it. God wins in the end. God knows what the Devil is going to do and He has told us about it in his Word. We know, not only that God will win, but all the major events on the road to Armageddon. We are watching those events take place before our very eyes.

The thing that escapes those who use “God is in control” as an answer to every problem, is that Lucifer wins. The Devil gives power to the Beast and the Beast defeats the Church. We lose! On an earthly plain, we are the losers.

Daniel 7:21 “I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and overpowering them…”

Revelation 13:7 And he was permitted to wage war against the saints and to conquer them. He was also given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation.

Of course, we go to Heaven and return with Jesus Christ when He defeats the forces of evil in the valley of Megiddo…

If God was in control, the Beast could not make war against the Saints or overcome them. Everything is not going to work out well. One Christian is being martyred for his faith every fifteen minutes… Today, all day long. The United States will be destroyed. American and British Christians are going to suffer, just like the saints in the Middle East are suffering today… God is not going to stop that. There is no exemption. “every tribe, people, language, and nation” means “every tribe, people, language, and nation.”

“God is in control” is not even true. God will win. God knows. God permits. But God is not in control… the Devil is in control. This is his world.

“God is in control” is not an excuse for ignorance, nor is it a bed under which you can hide. You need to learn what to watch for. You need to obey the command of your Savior and “Watch.” You need to prepare, both spiritually and physically for the chaos, the turmoil and the pain that is coming. You must be prepared to die.

You cannot hide but you can watch, you can be aware, you can prepare and you can make Heaven your home.

SPEAKING TRUTH IN LOVE

The fact that the truth offends, is no excuse for me to be offensive…

Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into Him who is the head—Christ.

My wife is the most loving, kind and considerate Christian I know. Jesus loved Cathy enough to save her and He loves you enough to save you. Cathy will love you into the Kingdom. Everybody loves Cathy.

We are opposites. I am mean, ugly, hardheaded and doctrinally correct. I will speak the truth as I find it in Scripture and as the Spirit convicts, but nobody feels the love.

It isn’t that I don’t love people. I love them enough to point out the truth, even when I know that the truth will greatly offend them and that they will reject that truth. I want to just be loving. I want everybody to love me. I want people around me to feel the love of Jesus, like it was just oozing out of my bones. You do not know how desperately I desire that, but these are desperate times and the truth keeps getting in the way.

The truth, however ugly and counter-culture it may be, can be spoken in love. I know that because the Bible tells me to do so. God would not tell me to speak the truth in love, if it were not possible to do so. God just wouldn’t do that.

I need to practice being kind and loving. I can take a hint from Jesus… “Go and sin no more… you brood of vipers!” How do I ever find that balance?

1 Timothy 5:20 Those who continue in sin, rebuke in the presence of all, so that the rest also will be fearful of sinning. (Speaking the truth in love.)

Luke 17:3a Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him… (Speaking the truth in love.)

Titus 1:13 This testimony is true. For this reason, reprove them severely so that they may be sound in the faith… (Speaking the truth in love.)

Titus 2:15 These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one disregard you. (Speaking the truth in love.)

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. (Speaking the truth in love.)

“Speaking the truth in love.” Let us look at that passage in context:

Now grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of the Messiah’s gift. For it says:

When He ascended on high,
He took prisoners into captivity;
He gave gifts to people.

But what does “He ascended” mean except that He descended to the lower parts of the earth? 10 The One who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill[ all things.11 And He personally gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, 12 for the training of the saints in the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into a mature man with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness. 14 Then we will no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching, by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit. 15 But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into Him who is the head—Christ. 16 From Him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building up itself in love by the proper working of each individual part.

We are to grow up. This is about growing up and maturing to the point that we are no longer blown about by “every wind of doctrine.” We are to grow into unity but that unity can only be found in Christ and the truth of Scripture. Seeking unity through compromise will never work. Speaking lies, because they are more “loving” than the truth, will never work.

The truth is, that the truth is ugly and offensive to those who reject it. There is a deep and inherent offense in the message of the Cross. Those who have been trained in lies, disguised as truth, revolt at the real truth, rejecting it off hand. I did! When God started showing me how things that I had learned in church, things taught to me as “Gospel Truth,” violated his Word, I rebelled. “Not my Pastor! Not my church! They would never teach me anything wrong!” I cried, I screamed at God, I told people that they were crazy! So why am I surprised that others have the same reaction? Sometimes you just have to get angry and fight through things.

However, the fact that the truth offends, is no excuse for me to be offensive. Error must be confronted but it is easier to accept the truth from those who smile and take your interest and needs to heart. I must learn to take on other people’s burdens. I must seek to understand where they are and where they come from. I must identify with them as brothers and sisters in the Lord. I must meet their needs. Only then, will I have the right to speak truth into their lives.

Please pray for me, that in however it may be possible, I will learn to speak the truth in love. I am not even certain what that means but I am aware that I need to learn.

THE TERRIFIED AND THE IGNORANT

Under every post on war or trouble or trials or tribulations, beneath every post on End-Times Prophecy, you will find them; comments from the terrified and the ignorant Christianites and Christianettes. They almost always include a verse or two that includes the phrase “Fear not…” The commentator, his or her fear showing through the misspelled and misplaced words, informs us that, in times like these, we should not be afraid. Follow up questions and answers quickly reveal a fearful soul who is, almost always, totally ignorant of the issue being discussed.

In their fear, these Babylonian Christianites and etts, assume that anyone posting such horrifying pictures, with such terrible headlines, must share their own fear, and most certainly are in need of spiritual comfort. Their assumption is that, either the poster of such information is posting it because they are very afraid or, worse, because they are a big Meany who has set out to terrify timid souls.

Ignorance, it seems, is their only refuge. They assume that if no one talks about it and if they do not know about it, it cannot hurt them…

That, is a lie from Hell!

Scripture tells us what to watch for. Jesus commands us to watch. If we did not know what to watch for, we would be guilty of willful ignorance. If we did not watch, we would be living in rebellion, sin, and in direct disobedience to the direct command of Jesus Christ. If we did not share the danger that we did see, we would be held guilty for the blood of everyone who died because we did not warn them.

We do not share because we are afraid.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears has not reached perfection in love.

We do not share in order to frighten the timid; we share because:

  • Jesus commands us to watch. You cannot watch without seeing.
  • God commands us to sound the alarm.
  • God will hold us guilty if we do not.
  • We love the Brethren enough to share.
  • Others need to prepare for the destruction that is upon us.

When others share, I learn. When I share, others learn. Together, we are continually watching, thinking, and sharing. This is how the Elect of God are preparing.

Ezekiel 33:1 33 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to them, ‘If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman, 3 and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows on the trumpet and warns the people, 4 then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life. 6 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman’s hand.’

If my posts frighten you… Good! Not posting terrifies me!

ἐκκλησία

These churches do not, cannot and will not accommodate the Ecclesia and the Remnant is the Ecclesia…

Dr. Michael Lake, Chancellor of Biblical Life Seminary and author of the bestselling book, The Shinar Directive, says that if all of those in the Remnant decided to go to church on the same day, there would not be enough church buildings to accommodate them.(1) That assessment sends a clear message that needs to be heard across the land…

The Remnant has been disenfranchised by the Babylonian Church…

One of the cruelest tricks ever played on the English-speaking church was perpetrated by King James and the Archbishop of the Church of England. One of the specific rules, handed down to the translators of the King James Bible by the Archbishop, under the signature of the King, was that they must translate the word ἐκκλησία, (Ecclesia) using the word “Church.” Ecclesia, means “called out to” and is properly translated as “The ones who have been called out” or perhaps, “Congregation.”  Church, in the English of 1611, was defined as “A building where religious services are held” It holds that as its primary definition to this day. The amount of confusion and damage caused by that translation is immeasurable.

…on this rock I will build My ἐκκλησία, and the forces of Hades will not overpower it. (Matthew 16:18)

The Protestant, Evangelical, Charismatic and Pentecostal churches in America have all been corrupted by the Babylonian system and, in particular, the Masonic Religion. You do not have to look far to see church buildings designed to look like Greek Temples… all according to strict Masonic Architectural principles. Almost every Christian Seminary has buildings designed, paid for and named after Master Masons. To find a church in America, larger than 250 members, that does not have at least one Master Mason on the church board would be almost impossible. If you do not understand the significance of that, search for the word “Mason” on this blog and read the articles that come up.

These churches do not, cannot and will not accommodate the Ecclesia and the Remnant is the Ecclesia…

Those who are in the Remnant have been called out of Babylon. With very few exceptions across America and no exceptions in many cities and towns, the American churches are firmly rooted and grounded in Babylon. When a member of the Remnant shows up, he fits like a square peg in a round hole. Everything he says and does goes contrary to the Babylonian system. It is not long until he upsets the proverbial apple cart and the other church members and even the Pastor begin to make it clear that he is not welcome.

If a Pastor hears the call and begins to exit Babylon, his sermons quickly begin to upset the congregation and the Mason(s) on the church board soon begin to look for a new pastor… At the very least, it produces an immediate and negative effect on both attendance and offerings. For this reason, most pastors will never leave Babylon… preferring to risk the plagues of Babylon to the instant loss of finances and prestige…

An Ecclesia, in the sense of a congregation of the Elect or the Remnant, will never be able to afford a church building or a hired Pastor. With no Masons in the Congregation, such finances are, for the most part, unobtainable. With no Masonic Brother on the board, banks are extremely reticent to loan money to a congregation. Thus, Ecclesia, or Congregations of the Remnant, find themselves meeting in houses and parks and fields and forests… The Pastors among the Remnant are mostly unpaid and often untrained… but they know their God.

I would ask those in the Remnant, and you know who you are, to try to start or find house churches with the Remnant in your neighborhood… and they are there. You meet by praying and going where God tells you to go and talking to whom God tells you to speak… This is organized, as in China, by divine appointments.

I would encourage Pastors, called to leave Babylon, to do so. This will, most likely, involve resigning your church, taking a secular job and meeting with the remnant in your house or a public place… The money and the 501(c) 3 are out the window… Wave Bye-Bye! Nothing ties a church and a pastor to Babylon like a Tax-Exemption.

If you are uncertain what I mean by Babylon… Search for Babylon on this blog and read all of the articles that come up.

Dr. Lake has said that trying to wake up the church is like “slapping dead cows.” I agree… There is a Remnant… an ecclesia of like-minded souls who have been called out of Babylon and into the Kingdom of God. If you have read this far, you just might be one of us… Pray that, above and beyond Facebook, God places you with a congregation of the called-out ones… Real, warm bodies, Brothers and Sisters who you can love and who will love you back. Forget “Church.” Find and join a Congregation…

45 Come out from among her, My people!
Save your lives, each of you,
from the Lord’s burning anger.
46 May you not become cowardly and fearful
when the report is proclaimed in the land,
for the report will come one year,
and then another the next year.
There will be violence in the land
with ruler against ruler. (Jeremiah 51:45, 46)

TRUMP AND THE TREATY THAT WILL MAKE HIM GOD…

What a deal! Everybody gets what they want. Israel expands its borders to unprecedented size and there is peace in Israel… The whole world is adopting American values, Freedom is in the air and religions, once the seat of great division and turmoil, are now uniting under Pope Francis…

Trump is a consummate businessman. Trump knows contracts and he knows how to leverage people and make them sign contracts; contracts that are often to their detriment. A treaty is nothing more than a glorified contract; a contract between nations. Trump will be a master Treaty Maker and nations will sign treaties that place their own nations at a disadvantage. Trump knows how to do that and all the powers of Hell stand by to give him whatever assistance he needs.

Let me start with a disclaimer. This is not a prophecy and I am not a prophet. There are ten thousand contingencies that could make my ideas here obsolete in a minute. This is my best guess, given at this moment and it is subject to change.

Some of you will argue that this goes against and contradicts many of the things that I have written in the past. I am in complete agreement with you. This is new and this is based, not on what I knew before but on what I knew before plus what I have learned since.

The fall of Babylon, described in Revelation 18, follows the seventh Bowl Judgment in Revelation 16. This is not at the beginning but at the end of the Tribulation. I have described, in other places, why I believe that the United States is the Babylon of Revelation. The video here, is the best description I have yet heard. I will not repeat my argument here.

I had, for some reason, been thinking that, as Babylon, America would fall at the beginning of the Tribulation. I now have reason to believe that it falls very near the end. The fact that it follows the seventh Bowl Judgment and that John was shown the fall by one of the angels holding the bowls makes that scenario quite logical.

If, as he has almost supernaturally overcome all the obstacles in his way so far, Trump again overcomes any challenges and is coronated on schedule, this argument stands. This argument depends on his assuming the throne… Should he not reach that day, this argument is null and void. Everything that I see, tells me that he will become President. Let us proceed with that assumption in mind.

IMAGINE:

Let us imagine that America does not die, per se, in order that the New World Order / Kingdom of the Beast can rise. Let us imagine instead, that America is the foundation and the seat of power for the New World Order and the Kingdom of the Beast.  Let us imagine that the “Spirit of America” is rebirthed under Trump’s leadership and that that system goes worldwide… Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness becomes the rallying cry of the Beast…

Let us say that this spirit of universal freedom and happiness overtakes the world and that, under one world government, seated in New York or Washington… the values of the New Atlantis become the values of most of the world… There will be pockets of resistance, of course and we will fight wars to enforce freedom and happiness around the world… Islam will be defeated and the remnant will retreat to desert caves…

Babylonian Christians… those who have mistaken America for the Kingdom of God and the light of Lucifer for the Glory of God, will cheer… God is winning and Trump has brought us freedom and money and success and he has killed all those awful Muslims! Praise God!

A cowed and battered Palestinian Authority will be ready to sign anything, and Donald will have the perfect treaty…

  • The Palestinians will get a limited State.
  • The Jews will get their Temple
  • The Vatican will get sovereignty over Jerusalem and enforce the peace with United Nations Troops.

What a deal! Everybody gets what they want. Israel expands its borders to unprecedented size and there is peace in Israel… The whole world is adopting American values, Freedom is in the air and religions, once the seat of great division and turmoil, are now uniting under Pope Francis… The Televangelists and the Babylonian Christians are thrilled out of their minds… Rick Warren is in Seventh Heaven and Kenneth Copeland is made a Bishop in the Church of Rome… Even the Muslims are coming onboard… Hindus and Buddhists are thrilled… Pagan religions, from the smallest to the largest are falling under the spell of Pope Francis and embracing Life. Liberty, the Pursuit of Happiness and Donald Trump! It is a wonderful world.

But peace comes with a price… a simple pledge and a tiny microchip… Starvation and death hits the Bible Believers hard.

For three and a half years the Jews work on their Temple. Donald Trump is spending an inordinate amount of time in Israel… He is Israel’s greatest friend and loudest cheerleader! The Priests are put in place and the daily sacrifice is resumed for the first time in two thousand years! Israel holds a ceremony and declares Donald Trump is the Messiah! And Christians… even the Babylonian variety, begin to rebel…

For three years or more, the cry has rung out around the world…

“DOCTRINE BE DAMNED… UNITY AT ANY COST!”

Suddenly, even the Babylonian Christians can no longer stomach the situation. There is a great revival… not so much of numbers but a return to holiness…

Pope Francis and The Donald are not amused. The fate that fell on Muslims in the early days, now falls on Christians.

Then comes the Temple Dedication. The Donald, now known in Israel as The Messiah, will preside…

Then comes the revelation of the Statue in a wing of the Temple and the Jews are appalled…

Then comes the “I am God” speech.

All Hell breaks loose…

Just imagine.

David…

I WANT A FRIEND!

“You must not marry or have sons or daughters in this place.” Jeremiah 16:2

Prophets, in Scripture, were very lonely men. Jeremiah was told not to marry… When a Prophet or a Watchman speaks, his words, even when not a direct Word from God, are heavy and hard to digest… they burn. Christians always want the Man of God to lighten up… Whatever the watchman says is answered with unrelated comments.

  • Watchman: “You need to get right with God. This Nation is about to fall and you are about to lose everything you own but you can smile, Jesus is coming soon!”
  • Church Member: “Did you see the Dallas game?”
  • Watchman: “Seriously, the United States has to fall. Scripture tells us that we will see the Kingdom of the Antichrist. That New World Order, as they call it, cannot rise unless the United States falls.”
  • Church Member: “You missed it? They are playing again today and it is going to be a great game!”
  • Watchman: “Listen! The nation is about to fall and a Great Deception is coming. If you are not right with God, you will be deceived and end up in Hell!”
  • Church member: “You really believe that? I don’t think that there really is a Hell and Bennie Hinn says everything is going to get better. I sent him a big offering and I keep watching that old mailbox… My check is in the mail!

And I replied, “Oh no, Lord God! The prophets are telling them, ‘You won’t see sword or suffer famine. I will certainly give you true peace in this place.’” Jeremiah 14:13

I do not have many face to face friends. I can’t help it… “Out of the heart, the mouth speaks.” My heart is on fire…

But the Lord said to me, “These prophets are prophesying a lie in My name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, worthless divination, the deceit of their own minds…” Jeremiah 14:14

Jesus is a friend and I am very grateful for my Facebook friends who know what I am talking about…
