CONNECTING THE DOTS

For most of my life I saw no one connecting the dots and making any connection between Scripture and real life, the Bible, and current events. There was a general understanding that, like the people in the Bible, we were sinners in need of a savior, but few, if any, specifics. Perhaps the connections were not so obvious as they are now but in failing to make those connections, the Church left Believers in a kind of schizophrenic state… they lived in a complex world and they had their Bible and never the two did meet.

More than that, the story of the Bible was simply a list of events. There was no idea that the fallen angels and their famous offspring in Genesis six was at all related to the Tower of Babel, the giants in the promised land or Goliath and his brothers. We knew about all those things, but no connection was ever made between them. The connection between those stories and the Elite who ruled us was unimaginable…

In the 1700s, Mayer Amschel Rothschild was a demonic character and a “Court Jew” by trade. Following the story from the Book of Daniel and in a tradition strongly tied to Babylonian mysticism, every king in Europe and England had a Court Jew who was called on to advise Royalty on God’s opinions in matters of state. Rothschild was such a man.

Rothschild believed that he was descended from Moses and his wife. Zipporah, the wife of Moses, was the daughter of Jethro, the High Priest of Midian (Pagan). God would tell Moses to destroy all the Midianites… There were giants among them, and they were descended from the Nephilim who were the children of fallen angels and men. In Numbers 31, we have the story. God commanded Moses and Moses commanded his army to kill them all. They disobeyed and brought the women and children back alive. This angered Moses who commanded, “Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him. But all the young girls who have not known man by lying with him keep alive for yourselves.” It was through the offspring of these young girls and the sons of Moses that Nephilim blood passed into Israel. It is Jews who still carry that blood who rule the world today, the Rothschilds being chief among them.

Mayer Amschel Rothschild was so certain that he and his brothers carried this blood that he arranged for his children, and his children’s children to all marry first cousins and thus strengthen the blood line, granting a special connection between Lucifer and his offspring forever. This is common history. This family, and six others with similar blood, own all the banks and control all the money in the world. It is these families, steeped in Babylonian mysticism, that are controlling the push for a Great Reset and the New World Order or Kingdom of the Beast.

Let us play a game of connect the dots…

Nimrod was a Nephilim and likely an ancestor of the current Rothschild family. He had gathered most of the people in the world together on the plains of Shinar. There they built a magnificent city, later called Babel. (Not to be confused with the Babylon of Nebuchadnezzar). I am not certain what Nimrod called the city; I have seen some guesses, but I don’t really know. Babel is the Hebrew word for confusion. The city came to be called “Confusion” because it was there that God confused the languages of men.

In that city, they began to build a tower. From the book of Jubilees, we know that it was much bigger than the artwork would portray it… Some sixty miles around the base. It was to be a manmade mountain and a pagan temple. The purpose, somewhat obscure in the Bible, is made clear in other writings… they were going to fight the God of Heaven and free the spirits of the angels who were chained up in Tartarus.

When God saw what they were doing, He said “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them…”  

That is an incredible statement, and it fills Satan’s dreams to this day…

God had an answer to that problem, and He continued, “Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another’s speech.”  This had the effect of scattering men over the face of the earth and they ceased building the tower.

Today, Satan, (also known as Lucifer, Jesus, and a hundred other names,) and the Elite families of Nephlimic origin share a dream that has repeated itself throughout all of history; reunite mankind under Lucifer, free the Fallen Angels and fight off the God of Heaven.

This is the Great Reset or the New World Order. God calls it the kingdom of the Beast…

A closer look at U.S. deaths due to COVID-19

After retrieving data on the CDC website, Briand compiled a graph representing percentages of total deaths per age category from early February to early September.

According to new data, the U.S. currently ranks first in total COVID-19 cases, new cases per day and deaths. Genevieve Briand, assistant program director of the Applied Economics master’s degree program at Hopkins, critically analyzed the effect of COVID-19 on U.S. deaths using data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in her webinar titled “COVID-19 Deaths: A Look at U.S. Data.”

From mid-March to mid-September, U.S. total deaths have reached 1.7 million, of which 200,000, or 12% of total deaths, are COVID-19-related. Instead of looking directly at COVID-19 deaths, Briand focused on total deaths per age group and per cause of death in the U.S. and used this information to shed light on the effects of COVID-19.

She explained that the significance of COVID-19 on U.S. deaths can be fully understood only through comparison to the number of total deaths in the United States. 

After retrieving data on the CDC website, Briand compiled a graph representing percentages of total deaths per age category from early February to early September, which includes the period from before COVID-19 was detected in the U.S. to after infection rates soared. 

Surprisingly, the deaths of older people stayed the same before and after COVID-19. Since COVID-19 mainly affects the elderly, experts expected an increase in the percentage of deaths in older age groups. However, this increase is not seen from the CDC data. In fact, the percentages of deaths among all age groups remain relatively the same. 

“The reason we have a higher number of reported COVID-19 deaths among older individuals than younger individuals is simply because every day in the U.S. older individuals die in higher numbers than younger individuals,” Briand said.

Briand also noted that 50,000 to 70,000 deaths are seen both before and after COVID-19, indicating that this number of deaths was normal long before COVID-19 emerged. Therefore, according to Briand, not only has COVID-19 had no effect on the percentage of deaths of older people, but it has also not increased the total number of deaths. 

These data analyses suggest that in contrast to most people’s assumptions, the number of deaths by COVID-19 is not alarming. In fact, it has relatively no effect on deaths in the United States.

This comes as a shock to many people. How is it that the data lie so far from our perception? 

To answer that question, Briand shifted her focus to the deaths per causes ranging from 2014 to 2020. There is a sudden increase in deaths in 2020 due to COVID-19. This is no surprise because COVID-19 emerged in the U.S. in early 2020, and thus COVID-19-related deaths increased drastically afterward.

Analysis of deaths per cause in 2018 revealed that the pattern of seasonal increase in the total number of deaths is a result of the rise in deaths by all causes, with the top three being heart disease, respiratory diseases, influenza and pneumonia.

“This is true every year. Every year in the U.S. when we observe the seasonal ups and downs, we have an increase of deaths due to all causes,” Briand pointed out.

When Briand looked at the 2020 data during that seasonal period, COVID-19-related deaths exceeded deaths from heart diseases. This was highly unusual since heart disease has always prevailed as the leading cause of deaths. However, when taking a closer look at the death numbers, she noted something strange. As Briand compared the number of deaths per cause during that period in 2020 to 2018, she noticed that instead of the expected drastic increase across all causes, there was a significant decrease in deaths due to heart disease. Even more surprising, as seen in the graph below, this sudden decline in deaths is observed for all other causes.

This trend is completely contrary to the pattern observed in all previous years. Interestingly, as depicted in the table below, the total decrease in deaths by other causes almost exactly equals the increase in deaths by COVID-19. This suggests, according to Briand, that the COVID-19 death toll is misleading. Briand believes that deaths due to heart diseases, respiratory diseases, influenza and pneumonia may instead be recategorized as being due to COVID-19.

The CDC classified all deaths that are related to COVID-19 simply as COVID-19 deaths. Even patients dying from other underlying diseases but are infected with COVID-19 count as COVID-19 deaths. This is likely the main explanation as to why COVID-19 deaths drastically increased while deaths by all other diseases experienced a significant decrease.

“All of this points to no evidence that COVID-19 created any excess deaths. Total death numbers are not above normal death numbers. We found no evidence to the contrary,” Briand concluded.

In an interview with The News-Letter, Briand addressed the question of whether COVID-19 deaths can be called misleading since the infection might have exacerbated and even led to deaths by other underlying diseases.

“If [the COVID-19 death toll] was not misleading at all, what we should have observed is an increased number of heart attacks and increased COVID-19 numbers. But a decreased number of heart attacks and all the other death causes doesn’t give us a choice but to point to some misclassification,” Briand replied.

In other words, the effect of COVID-19 on deaths in the U.S. is considered problematic only when it increases the total number of deaths or the true death burden by a significant amount in addition to the expected deaths by other causes. Since the crude number of total deaths by all causes before and after COVID-19 has stayed the same, one can hardly say, in Briand’s view, that COVID-19 deaths are concerning.

Briand also mentioned that more research and data are needed to truly decipher the effect of COVID-19 on deaths in the United States.

Throughout the talk, Briand constantly emphasized that although COVID-19 is a serious national and global problem, she also stressed that society should never lose focus of the bigger picture — death in general. 

The death of a loved one, from COVID-19 or from other causes, is always tragic, Briand explained. Each life is equally important and we should be reminded that even during a global pandemic we should not forget about the tragic loss of lives from other causes.

According to Briand, the over-exaggeration of the COVID-19 death number may be due to the constant emphasis on COVID-19-related deaths and the habitual overlooking of deaths by other natural causes in society. 

During an interview with The News-Letter after the event, Poorna Dharmasena, a master’s candidate in Applied Economics, expressed his opinion about Briand’s concluding remarks.

“At the end of the day, it’s still a deadly virus. And over-exaggeration or not, to a certain degree, is irrelevant,” Dharmasena said.

When asked whether the public should be informed about this exaggeration in death numbers, Dharmasena stated that people have a right to know the truth. However, COVID-19 should still continuously be treated as a deadly disease to safeguard the vulnerable population.

Satan loves, absolutely adores, Bible verses ripped from context and half-truths…

Their end will correspond to their deeds.

Thirty something years ago, I was an English Teacher in a school in Queretaro, deep in the heart of Mexico. A few blocks from my school was a large Catholic Seminary. A couple of young priests, teachers in that Seminary, who had dreams of becoming priests in a church in the United States, became my best students. One of them explained, “A vow of poverty in the United States is not the same thing as a vow of poverty in Mexico!”

Being invited to lunch at the Seminary, on multiple occasions, led to discussions on theology, doctrine, and Christianity. Sometimes we had friendly debates that went on for hours. Eventually, we decided to talk about football and not theology. We concluded that having a different authority made those conversations impossible.

Let me explain. When I would say, “The Bible says…” they would answer “But Pope Schmidt said…” Or  “But the Church Council at the Beach said…” When they said “Pope Jones said…” I would answer “But the Bible says…” For me, the Bible was the final authority in all things. If the Pope said something that contradicted plain Scripture, the Pope was wrong. For them, if what the Pope said contradicted plain Scripture, the Bible was wrong. At that level, there is no meaningful communication.

For many Evangelicals, the final authority is their preacher, their denomination, or a certain Televangelist. For others, it is a voice in their head that they have identified as God. Still others have concocted an absolute doctrine based on a handful of Scripture verses, isolated and devoid of context. Whatever their authority, any Scripture that challenges that authority is wrong and the one who preaches it is their enemy.

As Bible believing Christians, we may argue over interpretations of Scripture. Our arguments are different… We compare Scripture with Scripture. Often, we pull in alternate translations  and understandings of Hebrew or Greek words. Sometimes we go back to the old commentaries and see what the old Bible scholars had to say about a passage. In the end, we may still disagree, but the Bible remains our final authority. Most often, our arguments are on peripheral issues and not in matters dealing with Salvation. A Baptist and a Methodist may argue over sprinkling or emersion, but in the end, that is not a salvation issue.

Sometimes, or perhaps often, our arguments are over semantics. We are simply using different words to express the same thought. Sometimes it is language. As an outside example, one man can argue that the word “ya” means yes. His friend may insist that “ya” means already. They are both right, but one is translating German and the other Spanish. “Ya” means already in Spanish, but yes in German. So many of our debates are based on different understandings of words. I think that I understand the word “all”. When I begin to talk with a Calvinist, I quickly come to understand that to the Calvinist, the word “all” means “all who have been predestined to be saved.” We are both quoting Scripture, but to me, the language of Scripture is to be taken in its most common understanding. To the Calvinist, words mean what John Calvin said that they mean. Such things can lead to some very silly sounding conversations.

Whatever you believe, you must understand that for me, Scripture is the ultimate authority. Even the voice in my head that identifies itself as “God” is subject to Scripture. Even Scripture must be taken in context and Scripture must always be compared to other Scriptures…

Satan disguises himself as an angel of light and many have mistaken the Light of Lucifer for the Glory of God. Satan loves, absolutely adores, Bible verses ripped from context and half-truths… Satan will call himself “God” or “Jesus” or the “Holy Spirit” and he will quote a verse, misinterpret it, and question it… The biblically ignorant Christian, like Adam and Eve in the Garden, is fair game, and Satan has stolen many souls with his questions and his blatant eisegesis… For me, everything must pass the Scriptural test and Scripture must be taken in context and compared with other Scripture.

If every time I quote Scripture, you answer “But I think…” or “But I believe…”, our conversation will end abruptly. If I make the voice in my own heart pass the test of Scripture, please understand that I cannot accept the voice in your head as an authority and that I am convinced that even if you identify that voice as God Almighty, if what you say contradicts plain Scripture, I will reject it and call you deceived…

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

The Roots of Prognostication

One who understands the flow of history and Scripture has a good shot at predicting what will happen in the near future.

If you would understand what is happening today and predict what will happen tomorrow, you must know and understand the past… All that will happen tomorrow will build out of what is happening today and what has happened in the past… Tomorrow does not and cannot stand alone.

One who understands the flow of history and Scripture has a good shot at predicting what will happen in the near future; it is the same story continued. One who understands neither history nor Scripture cannot possibly predict the events of tomorrow.

If you understand today as a continuation of a story that started the very day that Satan rebelled against the Most High God, you have gained wisdom. If you are able to place the events of today in the context of:

  1. The Garden of Eden,
  2. The fall of man,
  3. The Days of Noah,
  4. The Flood,
  5. The Plain of Shinar,
  6. The Tower of Babel,
  7. The separation of Mankind by tribe, tongue, and nation,
  8. The rise of Egypt,
  9. The succession of empires: Greece, Rome, The Roman Church, The Ottoman Empire, England, The United States, The Nazis, and The Soviet Union, among others.
  10. The desperate and endless attempts of Satan to undo the chaos of Babel,
  11. The rise of the New World Order, One Government, One Religion, One Currency, One Leader…

If you can see the events of today as a continuation of that story, predicting the events of tomorrow with a high degree of accuracy is fairly simple. If you were writing the story, (not your story, this story) what would happen next? What can be done in the next days, weeks and months that will lead the world into the Kingdom of the Beast or the New World Order. Whatever happens next will be calculated to move mankind in that direction… You can count on it… AND it will not be all that different from the story as it has unfolded up to this point…

The Need to Know…

There is no excuse for ignorance…

As for me, I am convinced by Scripture and the Spirit of God that if I do not watch I am living in disobedience, sin, and rebellion…

Recently, I was told that I do not have a “need to know”. This is my response to that statement…

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge,I reject you from being a priest to me…

I desire knowledge because the lack of knowledge can prove fatal to me and to those I love. I love knowledge because my calling requires and demands it.

Luke 12:54 He also said to the crowds, “When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once, ‘A shower is coming.’ And so it happens. 55 And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, ‘There will be scorching heat,’ and it happens. 56 You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the present time?

Jesus could look out at the congregations of our church and ten thousand more across America, make the same statement, make the same accusation, and ask the same question, for the same reason… I do not wish to be a part of that crowd…

In Matthew 24, and other places, Jesus tells us the signs that will precede his return. The Prophets in the Old Testament, and John in the New, write hundreds and thousands of words describing the last days in detail. If I do not know the signs, I am ignorant, and my ignorance can cost both my life and the lives of those around me.

Mark 13:35 Therefore keep watch, because you do not know when the master of the house will return—whether in the evening, at midnight, when the rooster crows, or in the morning.

Many times, and in many places Jesus and the Scriptures command us to watch. As for me, I am convinced by Scripture and the Spirit of God that if I do not watch I am living in disobedience, sin, and rebellion; a place in which I would not like to be found.

Ezekiel 33:1 The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, speak to your people and say to them, If I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from among them, and make him their watchman, and if he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows the trumpet and warns the people, then if anyone who hears the sound of the trumpet does not take warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.

God has given sheep into my hands and I am responsible for their safety and their lives… If I warn them and they hear me and respond, I have saved their soul and mine. If they hear me and reject the warning, they are damned and they will die in their sins, but I have delivered my soul… If God warns me in Scripture, by his Spirit, or through the alignment of current events with Scripture, and I do not sound the warning, I am damned.

There is no excuse for ignorance…

Yes, we are saved by grace through faith in the Son of God, but that Son of God told us that it is he who endures to the end who shall be saved.

Jeremiah 44:16 “As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the LORD, we will not listen to you.”

The hardest thing for a Watchman to bear is the rejection by the people, not of himself, but of Jehovah God. Often, when the Watchman sounds the trumpet in alarm, he looks down from the wall and observes the people running into the church, shutting the windows, barring the door and turning up the music to a deafening volume in order to drown out the sound of the trumpet…

I will study, think, pray, and learn. I will share all that God shows me. I will sound the alarm but yes, I do understand that I cannot make you or anyone else listen.

THIS I BELIEVE

“Lord, whatever it takes to get me from what I am and where I am, do it!” It was the summer of 1984 and I was in desperate trouble. I remember lying in bed, weeping. I cried out that prayer from some place deep in the bottom of my soul. God had broken me and there was nothing left. I was a nobody. I was nowhere. I was nothing.

Ten years later, I was a missionary in the backwoods of Venezuela, married with a small son. Today, I am retired, ministering on Facebook, teaching in my church but at odds with many people there. God’s answer to that prayer has left me at odds with the world. Being where and what God wants you to be is not an easy place to find yourself… God just does not think like most of the people you know.

This could become a book, maybe it will, but the question is, what do I believe that sets me at odds with the church? My statement of faith would offend no believer in Jesus Christ. I believe the Bible is the Word of God, it is my final authority and the answer to my every question. I have rejected the interpretations of the Bible made by many men. The Bible, to me is straightforward and plain. The Holy Spirit explains it and interprets it for me.

  1. I believe the creation story.
  2. I believe the story of the fall.
  3. I believe that Satan is the god of this world.
  4. I believe in giants, Nephilim, Gibborum, sin, and Noah’s flood.
  5. I believe the story of the Tower of Babel and that it was God himself who, for his own purposes divided mankind into tribes, and tongues, and nations…
  6. I believe the call of Abraham.
  7. I believe that God set Israel apart as a nation unto himself.
  8. I believe the stories of Egypt, captivity, and the call of Moses.
  9. I believe that the people occupying the promised land were descended from the Nephilim.
  10. I believe that there were giants in the land.
  11. I believe that God gave the Law and authored the Old Covenant.
  12. I believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, suffered, died, was buried, rose again, ascended to the Father and is coming again.
  13. I believe that I am saved by grace through faith in the Son of God.
  14. I believe that I am under grace and free from the law.
  15. I believe that I am to deny myself, die to myself, take up my cross, fix my eyes on Jesus and follow him. Doing so leaves me with no need of the law.
  16. I believe that we are in the end days, that the Tribulation is upon us and that Jesus will come for us.
  17. I believe that it is he who endures to the end who will be saved.

Where I seem to get into trouble is with Americanism, Denominational Distinctives, and commonly held fairy tales…

I believe that the American Dream and the Gospel of Jesus Christ are opposites. They are directly opposed, one to the other, and they emanate from different gods…

Jesus taught:

Matthew 10:39

Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.

Jesus said, “Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel’s sake, but that he will receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life.

Matthew 19:21

Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

Luke 14:33

So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions.

The Declaration of Independence says:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…

This is the whole theme of Plato’s Republic in a nutshell… This is rebellion from God. This promises life and Jesus says that he who finds his life shall lose it… This says government gets its authority from the people. God says that Government gets its authority from God… This sounds so good that Christians just must believe it… Forgetting that one third of the Angels in Heaven thought Satan’s lie was too good to reject.

Anyway, these words were penned by Thomas Jefferson, a man who had the nerve to rewrite the Bible, leaving out the supernatural and any reference to the divinity of Jesus…

But most of my Christian friends are more American than Christian…

Denominational Distinctives:

Somewhere around 1986, God moved me from the Southern Baptist Church to the Church of God. This put me in a unique position to examen Denominational Distinctives from a quite different perspective. Both groups believed the same Bible but distinctly different interpretations of that Scripture, made by the founding fathers of those denominations had placed them at odds… What I discovered is that most of those distinctives, belonging to both denominations, were squabbles about insignificant matters and that they seemed to be motivated by a sincere desire to be better than the other denomination… If you can tell your parishioners that we believe this and they do not believe this, we are right and they are wrong, it is easier to keep them in the pew at your church… But, over time, these distinctives become more important than the Scriptures themselves.

Truth, taken to an extreme and believed at the exclusion of all other truth, becomes heresy. Grace that excludes all law is heresy. Law that rejects grace is heresy. With too much emphasis, Eternal Security becomes a cult. Too much emphasis on tongues and the gifts of the Spirit can build a cult. My rejection of denominational distinctives has made me the enemy of churchmen everywhere.

Fairy Tale Religion:

Few churches have escaped the curse of fairy tale religion unscathed. This religion is sold to the biblically ignorant in every church of every denomination, but some are hit harder than others…

This religion is built on a handful of incredibly good sounding promises, isolated, removed from context and ripped out of the Scripture. If you arrange those verses properly, you can sell this religion to almost anyone ignorant of the Scripture.

Precepts of Fairy Tale Religion:

  1. God is Good, He would never hurt anybody.
  2. God never judges men or nations.
  3. Do as thou wilt is the full extent of the law.
  4. Jesus will save everybody.
  5. God already forgave all your sin. Live life as you like.
  6. All things are possible with God.
  7. God can be made to do whatever you want him to do.
  8. You can manipulate God in three easy steps:
    1. Give me a large seed offering to prove your faith.
    1. Quote these verses at least a thousand times.
    1. Really believe that God is going to do what you tell him to do.
  9. If you do all those things and it does not work, it is your fault, you did not have enough faith.
  10. God can be bought if the offering is big enough.

There are a million different mixes, but this is the foundation. Some groups only believe one or two of those things. Other groups believe this and add ten more to this list. Almost every Christian I know has believed at least some of these things…

I get in a lot of trouble when I speak of the judgment of God, sin, Hell, death, and repentance.

Dominion:

One last and new conflict is this new Dominion Revival, based on new prophecies from new prophets… We saw this on full display at THE RETURN in Washington DC. This idea that God, apart from repentance, is going to save America and the world and that the Church, united with pagans of every religion, is going to take control of the earth, kill off all the bad guys and prepare the way for the Messiah…

I have not listened to it all, but most of it seemed to be baseless and unbiblical prophecy of a New Christian World Order. Promises that an unrepentant America, killing 3,000 babies every day, is going to be marvelous and unprecedented salvation of America… Everything I know of God and Scripture is calling for judgment. The idea that the church must redeem the world, install the Noahide Laws, and kill all the bad guys before Jesus can return is simply unscriptural… It is a fairy tale.

PARABLES, PROGNOSTICATION, AND PROPHECY

If I were to post that on Facebook today, someone would reply: “You are a false prophet. I was in Orlando yesterday and it never rained!”

Let’s look at that.

  1. I said that I am not a prophet and that I am not speaking for God. How can I be a “False Prophet”?
  2. I said in Florida. No, it did not rain in Orlando yesterday, but it did rain in Tallahassee, Tampa, Fort Myers, Key West, and Miami.
  3. I said, “next July”. Yesterday was September 18th of this year.

Perhaps this is why I feel so strongly driven to defend Jonathon Cahn… I suffer the same kind of judgment and receive the same kind of comments that he does… It hurts me, and I would assume that he is not without feeling.

If you are interested, we need to speak of Literary Devices, specifically:

  1. Parables
  2. Prognostication
  3. Prophecy

PARABLES:

No, there never was a certain man who went down to Jericho and no, there was never a Good Samaritan. I hate to burst your bubble, but that was a parable and parables are, by definition, “a fictional story with a moral”. In Cahn’s books, the fellow called “I” is a fictional character; he does not exist in real life. The man called “The Prophet” is a fictional character; he does not exist in real life. The story is fiction, it is a parable. Yet uneducated and uninformed Christians, never reading the introduction, assume that “I” is Jonathon Cahn and “The Prophet” is his “spirit guide” Yes, more than one person has so commented. A Parable is, again, by definition, a fictional story.

PROGNOSTICATION:

Prognostication is using known facts, history, current events, and in the case of the Christian, the Scriptures to produce a reasonable prediction of future events. It is not prophecy. The doctor looks at the tumor in a man’s lung and gives the prognosis, “You have between six months and a year to live.” Is this a prophecy? No, it is prognostication. Having studied much and having had hundreds of cases just like this, the doctor knows that, overall, men with that kind and size of cancer, generally speaking, with few exceptions, die between six months and a year after a similar diagnosis. The probability is that that man will die in that period of time. Could he die in three months? Yes. Could he live eighteen months? Of course, that is the nature of a prognosis. In his books, Cahn gives facts. You can fact check those facts… I have. Then, based on those facts, Cahn, using words like “I think” and “I believe” prognosticates… He gives a “prognosis”. As a matter of fact, he repeatedly states that these are not prophecies, and nothing has to happen. Despite repeated statements that he is not a prophet, Christians still line up to call him a “False Prophet”. I have suffered similar abuse.

PROPHECY:

A Prophet speaks for God. Prophecies begin with phrases like: “Thus saith the Lord…” or “God says that…” or “God told me…” Are there false prophets? Absolutely. One who comes to mind has, in five years, given more than 100 different dates for the Rapture… He has said things like, “God told me that the Rapture will be next Thursday at 3 PM Jerusalem time.” Every time he is wrong, he comes up with a new date. That is a false prophet. If someone, not only does not say that what he is speaking is the Word of the Lord, but repeatedly, and loudly, and clearly states that his prediction is not prophecy and that it is not the Word of the Lord, that person cannot be a false prophet and only the most ignorant and hateful of make believe, pretend, wannabe “Christians” would accuse him of such. Yet both Jonathon Cahn and I have been repeatedly labeled as “false prophets”, this in spite of the fact that both of us have loudly proclaimed that our prognostications are NOT prophecy and that we are NOT prophets and that it does NOT have to happen the way we are predicting. If one is not a prophet, he cannot be a false prophet… Duh!

Literary devices abound… You need to be aware of them and able to identify them. This requires study and, shudder, careful thought.

A Faked Armageddon?

This morning, I listened to Gary Wayne speaking at the 2020 True Legends Conference. Gary builds an almost bullet proof case for the “Gap Theory”. His case is so strong that I would suggest that we start calling it the “Gap Doctrine.” This is the teaching that I have long held to be true… The word translated “was” by the KJV Translators in Genesis 1:2 is much better translated as “became.” There was a huge gap between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2. This gap included a preadamic race that was destroyed by fire when Lucifer rebelled. The earth became formless and void and God remade the earth following that.

That is an argument that Gary takes almost three hours to build. I cannot prove anything here, but that is not new to me… What shook me up was when he suggested that the deception regarding the Antichrist will be so great that he even fakes an Armageddon, appearing to defeat the forces of evil in a great battle!!!

Trump and his forces seem to be working hard at building that deception… the lie which a delusion sent by God, will cause those who “have not received a love of the truth” to believe…

A Large group of Evangelicals, “United in Purpose” or “UIP” has endorsed Trump and is working to convince Christians to reelect him. “THE COVID VIRUS has been a gift from God,” began Ken Eldred, the group’s leader. “The kingdom of God advances through a series of glorious victories, cleverly disguised as disasters.”

The group is decidedly Dominionist, teaching that the church must conquer the world, by force if necessary, (think Roman Crusades). Only when we have physically established the Kingdom of God on earth… Only when Christians rule the world can Jesus return to rule the kingdom we have established for him.

This is the Doctrine of the Antichrist and he will promise to support them and to lead them to victory. They will love him for the same reasons they love Donald Trump.

Speaking of the President, DONALD TRUMP’S CAMPAIGN to change the subject from the coronavirus pandemic took a bizarre turn on Thursday, as the president paused during a speech at a Ford Motor Company plant in Michigan to praise the “good bloodlines” of the family descended from the firm’s founder, Henry Ford, a notorious anti-Semite and favorite of Adolf Hitler.

In an apparent ad-lib, Trump looked up from his prepared remarks — which praised the firm for teaming up with General Electric to produce ventilators and face shields for medical workers — to observe that Henry Ford’s descendants, like the current chairman, Bill Ford, who had introduced the president, have “good blood.”

Yes, read your history… Henry Ford was one of Adolf Hitler’s idols…

To the Christian who does not know the Scriptures, the AntiMessiah is going to look like Jesus Christ himself… The deception is being laid now. They have been working on the deception for centuries. It is getting deeper and more believable by the hour.

Yes, the AntiMessiah will come to save us from the godless Left. He will preach morality and promise wealth, health, and peace. He will be so good that Christians will gladly overlook his vanity, his profanity, and his blasphemy… “My God!” they will exclaim, “He wants to protect the Church… he hates Liberals and Atheists and he is going to save Babylon, my job, my position and my stuff!!! Why wouldn’t I follow him?”

That I knew… but even faking a Battle of Armageddon? That is a new one! Somehow, I cannot help but believe him…

In Matthew 24, the Disciples asked Jesus “What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” It was in that context (context is everything) that Jesus answered:

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

Who is the “you” of whom He speaks? Those who see the signs of His coming and the end of the age!
