The Destruction of Edom

Does anybody remember the Six Day War? If you are too young, you need to read up on it. That war was a miracle straight from God. The entire Arab World, Islam en masse,  lined up on Israel’s borders.

The night before the attack, the Egyptian Air Force threw an anticipatory victory party… While they were partying, Israel destroyed all their planes, as they sat unguarded on the tarmac…

Egypt’s tank commanders and a thousand tanks stood in the hills overlooking Israel. When the time to attack came, they stood still… they had lost radio contact with headquarters, and they had no idea what to do…

When it was over, Israel was twice the size it had been just a week before and soldiers stood and wept at the wailing wall in a united Jerusalem.

When you hear the media speak of “Israeli Occupied Territory,” understand that they are speaking of the land the Arabs lost in a war they started…

I want you to think about that because it is a foreshadow of things to come. This time, Russia and China and North Korea are lining up with the Arabs against Israel and America. This looks more serious than the Six Day War. This could be the end of Israel…

BUT GOD….

You will advance against My people Israel like a cloud covering the land. It will happen in the last days, Gog, that I will bring you against My land so that the nations may know Me, when I show Myself holy through you in their sight.

God lists the Nations now aligned against Israel… Russia and Turkey and Syria and Iran. Scripture speaks of the war that is to come… When you finish reading Ezekiel 38, you can reach only one conclusion…

God says that He himself will destroy them in the mountains of Israel… He will bring an earthquake and a hailstorm… When the survivors stand up, like the Egyptian Tank Commanders who went before them, they will be totally and absolutely confused. In their confusion, they will take up battle, one against the other… There will be no one left… No one…

Obadiah tells us that Esau will have no (zero) descendants…

For the first time in History the Borders of Israel will match the description given by God… and the world will, for a moment, understand that it is the God of Israel who has done this thing…

The Antichrist will offer his treaty and the survivors of Edom will sign anything… absolutely anything…

In The Image Of Adam

When Adam had lived 130 years, he became the father of a son in his own likeness, according to his image….

God created Adam and Eve in his image, but they fell. After that, all people were born in the image of a fallen Adam.

Genesis 5:3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he became the father of a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth.

Adam and Eve were created as triune beings.. body, soul, and spirit. When they sinned, their spirits died and direct communication with God was lost, as was access to the garden.

When Seth was born, and all of Adam’s children, they were born, not in the image of God but in the image of Adam. They were binary beings, body, and soul; they had no spirit and were never able to communicate with God face to face…

Since then, all men have been born as binary beings, without the ability to communicate with God, nor any hope of ever dwelling with him… It is the spirit of a man that communicates with God and makes the prospect of dwelling with him eternally possible.

This is why Jesus said, “You must be born again…” born of the spirit. The person who has been “Born Again” is again a triune being… body soul, and spirit. Communication with God has been restored and eternal life with him, in his presence, has again become possible…

John 3:“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water (natural birth, ie the water breaks) and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
