A Faked Armageddon?

This morning, I listened to Gary Wayne speaking at the 2020 True Legends Conference. Gary builds an almost bullet proof case for the “Gap Theory”. His case is so strong that I would suggest that we start calling it the “Gap Doctrine.” This is the teaching that I have long held to be true… The word translated “was” by the KJV Translators in Genesis 1:2 is much better translated as “became.” There was a huge gap between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2. This gap included a preadamic race that was destroyed by fire when Lucifer rebelled. The earth became formless and void and God remade the earth following that.

That is an argument that Gary takes almost three hours to build. I cannot prove anything here, but that is not new to me… What shook me up was when he suggested that the deception regarding the Antichrist will be so great that he even fakes an Armageddon, appearing to defeat the forces of evil in a great battle!!!

Trump and his forces seem to be working hard at building that deception… the lie which a delusion sent by God, will cause those who “have not received a love of the truth” to believe…

A Large group of Evangelicals, “United in Purpose” or “UIP” has endorsed Trump and is working to convince Christians to reelect him. “THE COVID VIRUS has been a gift from God,” began Ken Eldred, the group’s leader. “The kingdom of God advances through a series of glorious victories, cleverly disguised as disasters.”

The group is decidedly Dominionist, teaching that the church must conquer the world, by force if necessary, (think Roman Crusades). Only when we have physically established the Kingdom of God on earth… Only when Christians rule the world can Jesus return to rule the kingdom we have established for him.

This is the Doctrine of the Antichrist and he will promise to support them and to lead them to victory. They will love him for the same reasons they love Donald Trump.

Speaking of the President, DONALD TRUMP’S CAMPAIGN to change the subject from the coronavirus pandemic took a bizarre turn on Thursday, as the president paused during a speech at a Ford Motor Company plant in Michigan to praise the “good bloodlines” of the family descended from the firm’s founder, Henry Ford, a notorious anti-Semite and favorite of Adolf Hitler.

In an apparent ad-lib, Trump looked up from his prepared remarks — which praised the firm for teaming up with General Electric to produce ventilators and face shields for medical workers — to observe that Henry Ford’s descendants, like the current chairman, Bill Ford, who had introduced the president, have “good blood.”

Yes, read your history… Henry Ford was one of Adolf Hitler’s idols…

To the Christian who does not know the Scriptures, the AntiMessiah is going to look like Jesus Christ himself… The deception is being laid now. They have been working on the deception for centuries. It is getting deeper and more believable by the hour.

Yes, the AntiMessiah will come to save us from the godless Left. He will preach morality and promise wealth, health, and peace. He will be so good that Christians will gladly overlook his vanity, his profanity, and his blasphemy… “My God!” they will exclaim, “He wants to protect the Church… he hates Liberals and Atheists and he is going to save Babylon, my job, my position and my stuff!!! Why wouldn’t I follow him?”

That I knew… but even faking a Battle of Armageddon? That is a new one! Somehow, I cannot help but believe him…

The Weight of Fear and Wishful Thinking

Some of you believe in a pretrib rapture. if so, what do you do with this scripture?

But in those days AFTER that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. In Matthew 24, the Disciples asked Jesus “What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” It was in that context (context is everything) that Jesus answered:

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

(Matthew 24:9-14)

Who is the “you” of whom He speaks? Those who see the signs of His coming and the end of the age!

Whether Scripture supports it or not, the shear weight of fear coupled with wishful thinking will force the eisegesis… Masters of theology took it upon themselves to twist and warp the Scripture until it agreed to relieve their fears and fulfill their innermost desires…

When Scripture Contradicts Your Doctrine…

To perform Eisegesis, you must stick with what you already believe… No matter what the cost.

I am constantly confronted by people who are horrified that they have found (or worse, I have shown them) Scripture that contradicts and debunks their favorite doctrine…

Don’t panic! There is an answer! It is called…

EISEGESIS

This is a skill taught in the finest of Christian colleges and seminaries. Denominations have used it to “prove” their own distinctives… It is, however, a simple concept and quite easy to grasp…

To perform Eisegesis, you must stick with what you already believe… No matter what the cost. You are right and you know it. The Scripture is right but misunderstood. You go to the Bible with great determination and you find verses that prove that you are right and the common understanding of the passage in question is obviously wrong.

Having found at least two verses that prove that you are right, you must begin to think. (That is the really hard part.) If the painful and contradictory verse does not mean what it says, what does it mean? You must, by twisting logic and dumping common sense, come up with an explanation as to “what it really means.”

The Calvinists are masters at this. They know that Calvin was right and no Scripture that even hints at free will, can really mean what it really says… Problem is, there are a lot of those verses! They came up with a simple solution… redefine the words. Whosoever means Elect. All means Elect. None means Elect. Once you understand the concept, it is easy… Of course, Calvin was right!!!

Then, there is Romans seven. You know that Paul was perfect and could not sin… In Romans seven, Paul says that he sins… You spend months trying to explain why Paul could not have meant that he was a sinner when he said that he was a sinner. You come up with a five thousand word essay explaining how Paul did not mean that he was a sinner when he said that he was a sinner. Yea! You did it… And then, in a reply, someone quotes Paul again… “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.” (1 Timothy 1:15) Woops, this calls for another 5,000 word thesis… after all, we know that Paul was not a sinner.

When we have again proven that Paul was mistaken and that he really meant to use the past tense, that same pesky commentator comes up with another one… “If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.” (1 John 1:10) He notes that if Paul were to say that he was not a sinner, he would be calling God a liar…

What to do now? Simple, just keep at it… With good eisegetical skills you can prove anything…

Anglicans, Protestants, Evangelicals, Charismatics, Pentecostals and even Muslims come out of the Roman Church. Mohammad’s first wife was a Nun, released from her vows… She was old enough to be his mother.

Mary, called Maryum by Muslims, is the only woman mentioned in the Koran… Not Eve, not even Mohammad’s mother… only Mary… They are worshipers of Osiris and Isis.

The Pope has dropped “Vicar of Christ”, preferring to rule in his own name. (John 5:43) He is reverting to Babylonian Mysticism and the religion of ancient Egypt…

Watch him, he is calling on all religions to drop all that separates them and regress into the ancient religion they all hold in common… No one has to accept a new religion… they only have to go back to their roots…

The Dominionists, the New Apostolic Reformation, the Seven Mountaineers, the Word of Faith Practitioners, the Liberal churches, the Megachurches and the Televangelists are excited… This they can do… Unity will stop all the wars… If we all worship Osiris, Horus, and Isis, there is no argument, no reason to fight or die… You can call them by whatever names you like… just confess that, whatever the name, he is (they are) the same god(s).

The Muslims, the Hindus and the Buddhists are all coming aboard… I mean, if Krishna, Buddha, Allah and Jesus are all the same god… Wow!!!

If you understand this, much of the stuff (including Trump Worship) you see and read will suddenly make sense…

The end of the Church Age will be like the beginning… The Pagans will drop all pretense of modern religion and the Saints will be persecuted. Everything returns to its roots.

Star Wars

“None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”

There is only one Devil. He often appears as himself, dark, evil and fiery… In that mode, he calls himself Satan, and millions worship him. Many times he appears as an angel of light… so bright that the foolish and biblically ignorant mistake him for God and that light as the glory of God… In that mode, he calls himself Lucifer and millions worship him.

He plays one side against the other, As in Star Wars, so in real life, the forces of darkness fight against the forces of light….

He is one Devil and he hates all men, no less is his loathing for the forces of light than is his animosity towards the forces of dark. He causes them to war, one against the other. Sometimes he has a strategic goal that requires the victory of one over the other, but most of the time he does not care which side wins, as long as there are many deaths and much blood, pain, and suffering.

Satan, who plays both sides, is the god of this world. That is a title granted him by Adam who once held it. Jesus recognized and honored the title… the sovereignty he holds is valid and legal. When Adam submitted to the evil one, there was a transfer of power. His reign holds up in the Court of Heaven…

But, Jesus died and rose again and the end of Satan was set. Men and women who believe in Jesus are saved from the power of that enemy of souls. Those who reject that gift, are damned according to their own will and choice.

So great was that which was accomplished at the cross that Scripture says, “None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” It was their blind hatred of their Creator that damned them.

For those of you in the New Age, those blind followers of Lucifer, I would ask you to consult your Demon Guides… They know the truth but they cannot speak it… I would be most interested to hear their lies… Occasionally their brilliance amazes me. So ask your Spirit Guide if these things be true and let me know of the fairy tale they present to you… I need a good laugh!

For those of you who know Jesus, stay close to your savior. The greatest war in the history of man is about to break loose… The Devil will turn the “Forces of Light” against the “Forces of Darkness” Billions (with a “B”) will die and great will be the collateral damage. Satan has determined to reduce the world population to 500 million. (Those are his numbers, not mine). He will not succeed but at least one third of mankind will die. (The Bible tells me so)

Seven years his reign shall last… then Jesus returns and Satan is locked up a thousand years while the Spirit Guides (Demons) and the Damned shall burn… So it is decreed!

Christian, look up! Your redemption is drawing close… You shall rule and reign with him. Seven years of Hell stand in front of us. The only safety is in Jesus… Heaven is your home.

Did Paul Forget His Basic Grammar?

You have never been seven days without sin in your entire Christian life… neither has anyone else.

The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.

1 Timothy 1:15

A friend, whose blog I follow and with whom I often agree, has recently spent multiple blog posts and thousands of words trying to show that this verse does not and cannot mean what it says… surely Paul meant to write “of whom I was the foremost.” This verse, it seems, contradicts his private understanding of Romans chapters seven and eight.

I disagree. I see no reason to twist Scripture here. Paul said what he meant and meant what he said… there is no secret, occultic meaning hidden here. What he said is plain enough and it lines up perfectly with my experience and that of every honest Christian I have ever known… The greatest Christians I have ever known spent much time confessing sin and seeking forgiveness under the Blood.

It is a shared experience among mature Christians that the closer you get to God, the more aware you become of your own weakness, failure, and sin. The closer we get to God, the more sinful we become in our own eyes. A perception that we are somehow without sin is a good indication that we are exceedingly distant from the God of Heaven.

To claim to be without sin is to lie and lying is a sin. There is a spiritual reality of having been cleansed from sin and a very real experience of being weak and sinful. Those are not exclusive; it is not one or the other, it is both. We have been saved, we are being saved, (sanctification) and we shall be saved. All those things are true. You have never been seven days without sin in your entire Christian life… neither has anyone else.

When Paul said “I am the Chief of Sinners” he was neither confused nor senile, he had not forgotten basic grammar, confusing the present tense for the past tense. He was clearly stating the way he perceived himself as he compared himself to Jesus Christ.

Be honest… in your very real and present condition, if we stood you up next to Jesus Christ, would you, in fact, really and honestly be a sinner?
