In an article for Charisma Magazine, 10 Trends of the Coming Revival, J. Lee Grady writes, “What will the next wave of the Holy Spirit look like? I believe hope will overcome the darkness.”
A Google search for the phrase, “The Coming Revival”, brought up “About 50,200,000 results”.
Many years ago, Leonard Ravenhill suggested that the coming revival might be in the Concentration Camps.
I wrote, earlier this year, that “The next revival will be in the FEMA Camps, somewhere between the barracks and the Guillotine.”

The Bible predicts an end times Apostasy, not an end times revival. There will be, Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 2, “a great apostasy” before the end.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.
Look around you. Look at the Church of Jesus Christ in America. What do you see? Do you see the seeds of a great revival or the fruit of apostasy?
Fifty million people on Google are predicting a great revival.
The Bible is predicting a great apostasy.
Fifty million to one… That is an amazing spread. What are we to make of that? Let me show you something… This is nothing new. Prophets who predict wonderful things and a great future, eat well; they always have. Prophets of doom, are greatly persecuted; they always have been.
Jeremiah faced the same problem. God told him to prophecy the coming destruction in a country overflowing with “Happy Prophets.” Jeremiah was being persecuted. The “Happy Prophets” were collecting huge offerings, living in big houses and being pleasant to their servants… not so with Jeremiah.
Check out this passage. This applies to our day. This should encourage the real Prophet of God and cause the Watchman on the Wall to stand taller and blow the trumpet louder. This passage should put the Fear of God in the “Happy Prophets”!

False Prophets to be Punished
11 Then the Lord said to me, “Do not pray for the well-being of these people. 12 If they fast, I will not hear their cry of despair. If they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. Rather, I will finish them off by sword, famine, and plague.”
13 And I replied, “Oh no, Lord God! The prophets are telling them, ‘You won’t see sword or suffer famine. I will certainly give you true peace in this place.’”
14 But the Lord said to me, “These prophets are prophesying a lie in My name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, worthless divination, the deceit of their own minds.
15 “Therefore, this is what the Lord says concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, though I did not send them, and who say, ‘There will never be sword or famine in this land.’ By sword and famine these prophets will meet their end. 16 The people they are prophesying to will be thrown into the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword. There will be no one to bury them—they, their wives, their sons, and their daughters. I will pour out their own evil on them.”

Stand tall and speak the truth. The “Happy Prophets” have Mega-homes, cars and food… but their end is certain and it is not a happy one. Your Mansion is in Heaven and it is yours for all Eternity!
