THE HERESY OF THE APOSTATE CHURCH

Have you heard that the End Times Believers overcome the Devil by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony”? Did you know that that is not true? Did you know that that is a demonic half-truth, propagated by a Devil who loves half-truths and mixture?

One of the sickest things that has overcome, overwhelmed, and made useless the Church in the United States is the practice of preaching a censored and sterilized Gospel. Happy Sermons, limited to happy verses…

Much of Scripture is written in triplets and Revelation 12:11 is no exception. You can listen to a hundred sermons on that verse and in ninety eight of them, you will hear only two thirds of the verse.

  1. The Blood of the Lamb
  2. The Word of their testimony

But there are three things that bring them the victory, not two!

Revelation 12:11 They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not love their lives in the face of death.

  1. The Blood of the Lamb
  2. The word of their testimony
  3. They did not love their own lives in the face of death.

If you leave out number three, you turn the Word of God into a lie.

Number three is unpleasant and unhappy to preachers who have not yet embraced the eternal. Death, to most preachers today, seems to be the end. To find a preacher who has a real and vibrant faith that goes beyond the grave is rare indeed, and so number three is never read or talked about.

Preachers Love John 3:16 and 17,

16 “For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”

But no modern preacher in his right mind would ever teach on verse 18-22,

18 Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.

19 “This, then, is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who practices wicked things hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed. 21 But anyone who lives by the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be shown to be accomplished by God.”

How many times have you heard 2 Chronicles 7:14 quoted and preached on?

14 (If) My people who are called by My name humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

Can you remember hearing 2 Chronicles 7:19-22 quoted or used as the subject of a sermon?

19 However, if you turn away and abandon My statutes and My commands that I have set before you and if you go and serve other gods and worship them, 20 then I will uproot Israel from the soil that I gave them, and this temple that I have sanctified for My name I will banish from My presence; I will make it an object of scorn and ridicule among all the peoples. 21 As for this temple, which was exalted, everyone who passes by will be appalled and will say: Why did the Lord do this to this land and this temple? 22 Then they will say: Because they abandoned the Lord God of their ancestors who brought them out of the land of Egypt. They clung to other gods and worshiped and served them. Because of this, He brought all this ruin on them.

These are just two examples but it is a systematic heresy. This is based on Church Growth books and seminars, and it has led to an apostate church and the point where the vast majority of American Christians have a warped and twisted understanding of God, Jesus Christ and the Gospel.

We love sermons on how the angels led Peter and James out of prison… past the locked gates… but no one talks about John the Baptist losing his head with Jesus just down the street. No one talks about Stephen being stoned, no one talks about James and Paul losing their heads or the years Paul spent in prison, cold and hungry.

We love the verse, Philippians 4:13, and we twist it to make it say things it never did…

13 I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me.

How many times have you heard that verse preached in context?

10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that once again you renewed your care for me. You were, in fact, concerned about me but lacked the opportunity to show it. 11 I don’t say this out of need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. 12 I know both how to have a little, and I know how to have a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being content—whether well fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need. 13 I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me. 14 Still, you did well by sharing with me in my hardship.

I can learn to be content in all circumstances? I can learn to be content with little? Wow… that isn’t what I want to do through Christ! Paul was content in all circumstances? What kind of circumstances was Paul content in?

  • many more imprisonments,
  • far worse beatings,
  • near death many times.
  • Five times I received 39 lashes from Jews.
  • Three times I was beaten with rods by the Romans.
  • Once I was stoned by my enemies.
  • Three times I was shipwrecked.
  • I have spent a night and a day in the open sea.
  • On frequent journeys, I faced
  • dangers from rivers,
  • dangers from robbers,
  • dangers from my own people,
  • dangers from the Gentiles,
  • dangers in the city,
  • dangers in the open country,
  • dangers on the sea,
  • and dangers among false brothers;
  • labor and hardship,
  • many sleepless nights, hunger and thirst,
  • often without food, cold, and lacking clothing.

(2 Corinthians 11)

Are these the things I can do through Christ who strengthens me? Why didn’t the Preacher ever tell me?

If you only know the happy verses, what are you going to do when they come for you, Christian? What are you going to do?

THE REAL HISTORY OF THE PRETRIBULATIONAL DOCTRINE

Our American Pretrib doctrine started with a Jesuit Priest, writing under Jewish pen name, through the founder of the Plymouth Brethren in England to Dwight L. Moody, a shoe salesman turned Sunday School Teacher, turned Evangelist.

“The Coming of Messiah in Glory and Majesty” by Ben Ezra, is the origin of the Pretribulational doctrine in the modern church. ‘Ben Ezra’ is the pseudonym for a Roman Jesuit priest named Manuel (sometimes Emmanuel) de Lacunza (1731 – 1801). The pseudonym may have been a way of making the work acceptable to Jewish readers and diverting attention from the station of the author.

This is the first mention of the doctrine, outside of a few obscure references from the writings of the Church Fathers. Prior to this book, there was a brief introduction to the subject by another Jesuit, a man named Rivera, who was heavily involved in the Spanish Inquisition. Prior to that, there is no reference to the Rapture being before the Tribulation in either Catholic or Protestant literature. Some will object that it was taught by the Church Fathers but Lacunza took a collection of less than ten sentences, from as many authors, and developed it into a six hundred page book.

The book was taken to England, where it was translated by a man named Edward Irving, a minister of the Church of Scotland. It was Irving’s translation, available here, that fell into the hands of John Nelson Darby, the founder of a sect called the Plymouth Brethren. Darby was fascinated by this book, originally believing that it was written by a converted Jew. The ideas overtook him and consumed his life. His doctrine was changed forever and his writings are the foundation of Dispensationalism and the Pretrib Rapture in the English speaking world.

From a different angle, a young girl from Scotland, Margaret MacDonald, a very early Pentecostal and follower of Irving, had a vision of a secret rapture where those “Baptized in the Spirit” were taken out of the world prior to the Tribulation. This vision established the Pre-Trib Rapture as a solid doctrine in Pentecostal Churches. John Darby would later meet Ms. MacDonald and they would compare notes. There is no doubt that her vision served to cement the doctrine in the mind and heart of John Nelson Darby.

In 1867, an American Evangelist by the name of Dwight L. Moody visited England. It was there that he met Darby, who taught him the basics of dispensationalism, including the idea of a Pretribulational Rapture. Moody came home, thrilled with his newfound doctrine. He did not have the theological background to understand all of the implications of Dispensationalism, but as an Evangelist, he could not miss the implications of the teaching that Jesus could return at any time.

Soon after, Darby made a trip to the United States. While in the States, he met a theologian named C. I. Scofield. Scofield went on to publish his annotated Bible, which became the standard for American Protestants and Evangelicals for  a hundred years. In the Scofield Reference Bible, the Jesuit doctrine of Rivera, Lacunza, Darby, McDonald, Moody and Scofield is presented as Gospel Truth and established fact. This despite the fact that Scofield’s fellow theologians begged him not to do it and at least one member of his editorial staff resigned over the issue.

The Doctrine was almost instantly picked up by every evangelist in America… The idea that Jesus could return at any minute, scared the Hell out of sinners who flooded the altars and the offering plates. It was about to die out, having lost its shock value in a world that did not believe in God anyway. Then came the Left Behind books and movies. Suddenly, the Christian world was on fire with the doctrine of a Pre Tribulation Rapture… Suddenly, the whole world was staring at the clouds.

Our American Pretrib doctrine started with a Jesuit Priest, writing under Jewish pen name, through the founder of the Plymouth Brethren in England to Dwight L. Moody, a shoe salesman turned Sunday School Teacher, turned Evangelist. (Moody had no formal Bible training.) Moody brought it back to the United States… From there, it was spread by the graduates of Moody Bible Institute and throughout the Evangelical Churches. It was reinforced by the notes in the Scofield Bible, which many preachers considered to be almost as inspired as the Scriptures themselves. After that, it got picked up by the writers of a series of novels that became movies… and the rest is history.

I defy anyone to find even the words Pretribulational Rapture in the writings of any American church or denomination, prior to Moody’s return from England…

This is the real, historical history of the doctrine. It may be fully researched. I have made available here, the entire six hundred plus page book that started it all… Welcome to Jesuit Land!

WHY NEITHER TRUMP NOR GOD ALMIGHTY WILL SAVE AMERICA

Jeremiah 14:11 Then the Lord said to me, “Do not pray for the well-being of this people. 12 Although they fast, I will not listen to their cry; though they offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will destroy them with the sword, famine and plague.”

  • Time is up. The generation Jesus said would not pass away is in its 68th year.
  • The New World Order is the Kingdom of the Beast/Antichrist.
  • The Kingdom of the Beast cannot rise unless the United States falls.
  • The NWO will rise, like a phoenix, out of the ashes of America.
  • God is Holy.
  • God is righteous.
  • God is Just.
  • God is Jealous.
  • The USA has sacrificed some 70 million innocent children to Baal.
  • The USA has glorified Sodomy.
  • The USA has lifted up and protected Sodomites.
  • The USA has called intersodomite marriage a Constitutional Right.
  • The USA has mandated that men must be allowed to shower, urinate and defecate in the presence of little girls.
  • The USA has mandated that girls must shower naked in the presence of naked men.
  • The USA has started wars and killed millions, without reason.
  • The USA is the largest exporter of pornography in the world.
  • The USA has used their financial might to blackmail other countries into legalizing abortion.
  • The USA has used their financial might to blackmail other countries into legalizing intersodomite marriage.
  • The USA has prohibited public prayer.
  • The USA has defamed the Church of Jesus Christ and restricted its rights.
  • The USA has imported foreign religions, lifted them up and given them special status.
  • The Church in the USA, with the exception of a tiny remnant, is apostate.
  • The Church in the USA is pro-sodomy.
  • The Church in the USA will not preach repentance and Christians will not repent.
  • Christians who have no faith in God and refuse to recognize the sins of the Nation are putting their faith in Donald Trump.
  • “Trump will save us and we do not even have to change or repent.” Is deadly reasoning.
  • Donald Trump is a Hell-bound pagan. God could use him like Cyrus, but for all the reasons listed above, He will not and cannot.

This list is incomplete.

HELLFIRE, BRIMSTONE AND LYING PROPHETS

“Therefore, this is what the Lord says concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, though I did not send them, and who say, ‘There will never be sword or famine in this land.’ By sword and famine these prophets will meet their end.”

Today, I received a long comment on a post in Facebook. The gentleman went on and on about how God is going to use Donald Trump to rescue this nation and that we are going to see a great revival and a period of great blessing… (ad nauseam)

If we see a great revival, it will be in the FEMA Camps, somewhere between the barracks and the guillotine…

  • Almost 70 million babies sacrificed to Baal on the altar of Abortion,
  • The glorification and codification of Sodomy,
  • The death of millions and the destruction of entire nations by the policies of the United States,
  • Our turn against Israel…
  • It is seventy years, a biblical generation since the clock started ticking with the formation of Israel…
  • We are out of time, prophetically.
  • The only thing standing in the way of the Kingdom of the Beast, the New World Order, is the United States.
  • The US must fall… it is out of the ashes of the USA that the New World Order will rise like a phoenix…

There is a Scripture that comes to mind here…

Jeremiah 14:11 Then the Lord said to me, “Do not pray for the well-being of these people. 12 If they fast, I will not hear their cry of despair. If they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. Rather, I will finish them off by sword, famine, and plague.”

13 And I replied, “Oh no, Lord God! The prophets are telling them, ‘You won’t see sword or suffer famine. I will certainly give you true peace in this place.’”

14 But the Lord said to me, “These prophets are prophesying a lie in My name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, worthless divination, the deceit of their own minds.

15 “Therefore, this is what the Lord says concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, though I did not send them, and who say, ‘There will never be sword or famine in this land.’ By sword and famine these prophets will meet their end. 16 The people they are prophesying to will be thrown into the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword. There will be no one to bury them—they, their wives, their sons, and their daughters. I will pour out their own evil on them.”

OF HERESY AND HERETICS

Not everyone you disagree with is a heretic. That should be obvious, but on Facebook, it does not seem to be…

There is a certain group of people, some of them on my friends list, who feel that it is their calling to denounce and warn people about every possible minister and ministry on the Web. I seldom post a video or an article on Facebook without some illuminated individual denouncing the source as an evil heretic. There is no minister of the Gospel, anywhere on social media, that someone has not labeled a heretic… and I hear it all.

I am sick of it.

The latest example is Paul Begley. I will use him (poor thing) as an example:

PAUL BEGLEY:

  • Is not perfect.
  • His wife is Roman Catholic.
  • He believes in the Catholic Doctrine of Transubstantiation. (Heresy, in my opinion)
  • He sells prayer cloths (To bless people and raise money)
  • He sells stuff and earns his living as a preacher. (A gross sin in the eyes of some Facebook friends.)

Of all this and more, I get multiplied notice, every time I post one of his videos. But it is not just him, Any video I post from any source will bring out the heresy warnings… It is grossly sickening.

I have people calling me a heretic. Just yesterday, a Calvinist called me an “Armenian Heretic” and banned me from his group. Apparently, if people are not lined up to call you a heretic, it is because you never ruffle the Devil’s feathers.

Let me point out, in Paul Begley’s favor:

  • He preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • People are saved in every meeting he preaches.
  • He always honors Jesus Christ.
  • He has a keen understanding of End Times Prophecy.
  • He has a good eye for current events that fulfill Biblical prophecy.
  • He has good sources and he quotes solid people and media sources.
  • He is often the first to report on world events that affect Christians.

I could probably go on, but I won’t.

Let me clue you in. When I post a video from Paul Begley, or anyone else, it is because of the information contained in that video. I almost always have personally checked his sources before I post the video. The video I post is not a blanket endorsement of the man and everything he believes, does and says…

To continue with my example, but it applies to anyone I quote or post, When I post a video from Pastor Begley:

  • I am not saying that he is perfect.
  • I am not endorsing everything he believes.
  • I am not endorsing the Roman Catholic Church.
  • I am not endorsing Transubstantiation.
  • I am not marketing his prayer cloths.
  • I am not endorsing any product he may have for sale on his Website.

What I am doing is telling you that there is important information in the video that you need to hear. If you love Paul Begley, or anyone else whose work I post, good. If you hate them, talk to God about your problem.

Please grow up. The ministry of calling out pastors and teachers for heresy is not found in the Bible… It is not a valid ministry. Be cautious and prayerful always. If I post an article or a video by someone you really believe is a heretic, you do not have to watch it… that is your choice, but please stop filling up the comment section with cries of heresy…

Thank you,

David…

In response to this article, Heidi Begley, posted the following: “David Rice, I thank you for your attempt to temper down this nasty habit that many have formed, and Pastor Paul is one that could be used as a perfect example. If I can please clarify some of the points of your article… It is agreed that Pastor Paul is not perfect… no one is. It is not true that I am a Roman Catholic… I was born again as a teenager and am nondenominational. I am sure pastor nor I subscribe to the doctrine of Transubstantiation. We have never, ever sold a prayer cloth. And the “stuff” on our website is not sold, it is given in appreciation for donations to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I thank you for acknowledging the spirit of evangelism that is the heart of Pastor Paul and I. I would hope that now that you have the truth of these points, that you would make the necessary retractions of your article. Feel free to ask me anything as Pastor and I are very transparent.”

I am grateful for her response and would bring it to the attention of Heresy Hunters everywhere…
