Jeconiah: From Cursed King to Jesus’ Ancestor

Jeconiah, the last heir to David’s throne, reigned briefly and was cursed by God as childless. After nearly 35 years in prison, he was released, married, and had a son, preserving David’s lineage. Ultimately, Jesus Christ descends from this “bad king,” highlighting that hope remains despite dire circumstances.

Jesus Christ would descend from a bad king who spent almost 35 years in prison…
There is hope for you…

Jeconiah, who was eighteen years old when he took the throne of Judah, reigned three months and ten days, beginning December 9, 598 BC. He was the last living heir to the throne of David.

Of his reign, the Bible simply states…
Jeconiah did evil in the sight of the Lord.

In Jeremiah 22, Jeconiah is cursed by God, who says,
30
Thus says the Lord:
“Write this man down as childless,
    a man who shall not succeed in his days,
for none of his offspring shall succeed
    in sitting on the throne of David
    and ruling again in Judah.”

But God would have mercy on him and in Matthew, he is listed in the genealogy of Jesus…

Matthew 1:12 And after the deportation to Babylon: Jechoniah was the father of Shealtiel, and Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel…

After three months as king, Nebuchadnezzar II destroyed Jerusalem and took Jeconiah captive.

The young king would spend 34 years, 11 months and 28 days (2 days short of 35 years) in a Babylonian prison. He had no children. Everything looked like God had reneged on his promises… no messiah would come from the line of David.

Then, Nebuchadnezzar died. The new and wicked King Amel-Marduk, released Jeconiah and gave him a seat above all the other kings living in Babylon.

At 52 years of age, Jeconiah would marry and give birth to a son. He would become the grandfather of Zerubbabel, who would return to the land and become the first governor of the restored nation… The lineage of David was preserved and Jesus Christ would descend from a bad king who spent almost 35 years in prison…

God is not finished with you yet!!!!!

CONTEXT AND THE JUDGMENT OF GOD

Extremists love to quote Scripture out of context.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath…
The extremists always use the first part of the verse and finish it with three little dots…
Did you never wonder what they are so carefully omitting?????

As born again Christians, we are spared from the wrath and judgment of God as concerns our personal sin. However, as with many issues, Christians, and in particular Western Christians, have taken this truth to a heretical extreme.

And yes, truth pushed to the ridicules extreme becomes heresy.

The wrath from which we are saved is not the tribulation, or the wrath of God on the earth in general, it is the wrath poured out in Hell against sinners who have rejected Jesus.

Extremists love to quote Scripture out of context.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath…

The extremists always use the first part of the verse and finish it with three little dots…

Did you never wonder what they are so carefully omitting?????

The whole verse reads “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.” Even reading the verse in its entirety tells you that it is speaking of salvation versus damnation. If you read the entire passage, you cannot ever make that mean the wrath of God poured out on a sinful world in the tribulation. In its proper context, wrath is the opposite of salvation. We are speaking of Heaven and Hell, not the tribulation…

But… Pretribbers needed a proof text and the first half of that verse, removed from context, would work to support their fantasy, and it is such a happy lie!

When God judges nations and peoples, Christians often get hurt. The good news is that God goes through it with them, and when they die, they go to Heaven and not Hell. Many nations have been judged by God and destroyed. When that happened, Christians were hurt and killed. When the river flooded Kerrville, Christians died…

Speaking of the days in which we now live and the days soon to come, Jesus said…

Matthew 24:9 “Then they will hand you over for persecution, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of My name.

John, writing of Christians living through the Tribulation, penned these words:

Revelation 13:9 If anyone has an ear, he should listen:

10 If anyone is destined for captivity,
into captivity he goes.
If anyone is to be killed with a sword,
with a sword he will be killed.

This demands the perseverance and faith of the saints.

This demands the perseverance of who???
You!

THE AMERICAN CHURCH HAS LED THE WORLD IN THE GREAT APOSTASY…

To hear the Gospel from the average American preacher is to understand that Jesus died to make you fat, rich and happy in your mansion overlooking downtown Babylon… As long as you attend church, raise your hands, sing loudly, and throw money in the plate, you will be healed of every disease, protected from all harm, and given riches beyond your wildest imagination… If it doesn’t work out that way, it is your fault, not the preacher’s… you either didn’t have enough faith or more likely, didn’t put enough money in the plate…

Get a handle on reality, it isn’t just Stephen, James, Paul and Peter who suffered and died for Jesus, more than seventy million martyrs have followed them and hundreds of Christians are being given the opportunity to suffer and die for Jesus today… Right now!

If you will follow him, God will have you where He wants you, when He wants you to be there. You will suffer what God wills you to suffer and you will die on the day and at the hour He has determined. If you do not follow him, good luck!

There is another verse that heretics love to rip from context and misinterpret… a verse hanging on the wall in many Christian homes… Only again, just the first part of the verse, ending in those famous three dots that represent the part that your preacher likely never read you.

Philippians 3:10 My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection…

Again… Get a handle on reality! Look at the context!

Philippians 3:10 My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 assuming that I will somehow reach the resurrection from among the dead.

Context changes everything!!!!!

Is your goal to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, or would you really like to just stop after the first phrase? The truth is that those who do not want to know him in the fellowship of His sufferings or to be conformed to His death, will NEVER know him in the power of his resurrection!

THE FIRE THAT BURNS AND THE WIND THAT SCATTERS IS UPON US!

This post discusses themes of purification and reduction through biblical references, emphasizing Jesus’ message about the refining nature of fire and the winnowing of wheat. It highlights Isaiah’s call to preach, suggesting that truthful preaching can be painful but ultimately leads to a holy remnant, symbolized by the stump.

Jesus spoke of the refiner’s fire…
FIRE HURTS
FIRE REDUCES

Jesus spoke of winnowing wheat…
WINNOWING WASTES
WINNOWING REDUCES

In Isaiah chapter six, God calls Isaiah, Isaiah accepts the call and then…

God tells him to preach until everything burns up…
START PREACHING TO A GREEN TREE
PREACH UNTIL NOTHING BUT A STUMP REMAINS
PREACHING TRUTH HURTS
PREACHING TRUTH REDUCES

THE HOLY SEED IS A STUMP…

Isaiah 6:
13 And though a tenth remain in it,
it will be burned again,
like a terebinth or an oak,
whose stump remains
when it is felled.”
The holy seed is its stump.

The Lord Has Destroyed Without Pity…

Lamentations 2:
14 Your prophets have seen for you
false and deceptive visions;
they have not exposed your iniquity
to restore your fortunes,
but have seen for you oracles
that are false and misleading.

HOLD ON, THE FIRE THAT BURNS AND THE WIND THAT SCATTERS IS UPON US!

The day Jesus returns will find the church reduced to a stump…
BE OF GOOD CHEER…
THAT STUMP IS THE HOLY SEED!

THE HOLY SEED IS A STUMP

The passage discusses the context of Isaiah 6:8, emphasizing God’s command to deliver a message of judgment to unheeding people. It critiques contemporary preachers who avoid discussing God’s potential punishment for disobedience, contrasting with scriptural warnings and prophecies. The overall theme is the necessity of sincere repentance and awareness of divine consequences.

Isaiah 6:

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”

This is one of the most famous verses in the Scripture and many know it by heart… However, very, very few Christians have ever read it in context…

Isaiah 6:

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” And he said, “Go, and say to this people:

“‘Keep on hearing but do not understand;
keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’
10 Make the heart of this people dull,
    and their ears heavy,
    and blind their eyes;
lest they see with their eyes,
    and hear with their ears,
and understand with their hearts,
    and turn and be healed.”
11 Then I said, “How long, O Lord?”
And he said:
“Until cities lie waste
    without inhabitant,
and houses without people,
    and the land is a desolate waste,
12 and the Lord removes people far away,
    and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.
13 And though a tenth remain in it,
    it will be burned again,
like a terebinth or an oak,
    whose stump remains
    when it is felled.”
The holy seed is its stump.

I have had preachers tell me to my face that God would never send sickness, famine or death… Most of us know 2 Chronicles 7:14, but have you ever read verse 13?

2 Chronicles 7:

13 When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people,

After God contradicts the sloppy-grace preachers, He continues…

 14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

BUT…

But preachers somehow always seem to ignore the “but”.

19 “But if you turn aside and forsake my statutes and my commandments that I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them, 20 then I will pluck you up from my land that I have given you, and this house that I have consecrated for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples. 21 And at this house, which was exalted, everyone passing by will be astonished and say, ‘Why has the Lord done thus to this land and to this house?’ 22 Then they will say, ‘Because they abandoned the Lord, the God of their fathers who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods and worshiped them and served them. Therefore he has brought all this disaster on them.’”

         Jeremiah 14

10 Thus says the Lord concerning this people:
“They have loved to wander thus;
    they have not restrained their feet;
therefore the Lord does not accept them;
    now he will remember their iniquity
    and punish their sins.”

11 The Lord said to me: “Do not pray for the welfare of this people. 12 Though they fast, I will not hear their cry, and though they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.”

Lying Prophets

13 Then I said: “Ah, Lord God, behold, the prophets say to them, ‘You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place.’” 14 And the Lord said to me: “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds. 15 Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although I did not send them, and who say, ‘Sword and famine shall not come upon this land’: By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed. 16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem, victims of famine and sword, with none to bury them—them, their wives, their sons, and their daughters. For I will pour out their evil upon them.

Make a note of this passage in Jeremiah… we will see these words again…

Jeremiah 15:

         1Then the Lord said to me, “Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my heart would not turn toward this people. Send them out of my sight, and let them go! And when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go?’ you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord:

“‘Those who are for pestilence, to pestilence,
    and those who are for the sword, to the sword;
those who are for famine, to famine,
    and those who are for captivity, to captivity.’

The Lord Has Destroyed Without Pity

Lamentations 2:
The Lord has become like an enemy;
    he has swallowed up Israel;
he has swallowed up all its palaces;
    he has laid in ruins its strongholds,
and he has multiplied in the daughter of Judah
    mourning and lamentation.

13
What can I say for you, to what compare you,
    O daughter of Jerusalem?
What can I liken to you, that I may comfort you,
    O virgin daughter of Zion?
For your ruin is vast as the sea;
    who can heal you?

14 Your prophets have seen for you
    false and deceptive visions;
they have not exposed your iniquity
    to restore your fortunes,
but have seen for you oracles
    that are false and misleading.

Revelation 13:

He began to speak blasphemies against God: to blaspheme His name and His dwelling—those who dwell in heaven. And he was permitted to wage war against the saints and to conquer them. He was also given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation. All those who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name was not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered.

Pay attention here, you have heard these words before…

If anyone has an ear, he should listen:

10 If anyone is destined for captivity,
into captivity he goes.
If anyone is to be killed with a sword,
with a sword he will be killed.

This demands the perseverance and faith of the saints.

Lucifer’s Light: The Reality Behind Trump’s Rule

There is a dichotomy regarding Trump, he is either a savior or a deceptive figure representing Lucifer. You must not view him as a typical president, as doing so perpetuates a dangerous delusion. You are encouraged to maintain faith amid this spiritual challenge.

Trump is either God or the Antichrist…

You must decide what you will believe, but you cannot allow yourself to see him as simply another President, that is not an option.

This is supernatural…

This is the oldest game in the world… From Dark to Light… The Shining.

I will tell you that this is a devilish con job… You can ignore me, or argue with me, or shout from the housetops, telling the world that I am an evil liar…

None of that will change the facts… Trump is a Messiah, a Savior… He comes in splendor and light. He comes to save us!

But this is not the light of the God of Heaven… This is Lucifer posing as an Angel of Light… This is moving from the black night of Satan to the bright morning of Lucifer… This is a game, and if you believe it, you are damned…

But you have free will… You may choose to believe that God Almighty has sent a hard-faced, blasphemous, liar to save America in her sin, without repentance, and empower her to continue in her sin, raising her up so that she can rule the world… Feel free… I will not stop you.

This is the delusion, sent from God, to cause those who love pleasure more than they love righteousness to believe the lie.

This is the deception that threatens even the Elect of God…

I have always known that the remnant would be small. The remnant is tiny beyond belief… If you understand my words, congratulations, you are part of that tiny group of Christians who love Jesus more than they love life itself…

Sleep well tonight, get up in the morning, pick up that ugly, splintered, wooden cross and keep dragging it up that hill… There is Glory on the other side of Calvary…

For the rest of you, please enjoy your moment… bask in the glorious light of Lucifer… Applaud and uphold his Messiah… This is your time to shine!

DELUSION

The content discusses the urgent need for a truthful understanding of scripture amidst widespread delusion and deception. It critiques modern churches that emphasize positive messages over the principles of God’s wrath and judgment, warning of a false sense of security. The author highlights biblical examples of unheeded warnings and consequences.

2 Thessalonians 2:9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe THE LIE, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Delusion and deception are everywhere. As I face the lies, I hold to one truth. The Bible says what it means and means what it says. Yes, even that understanding can and has been taken too far by some. Any truth, taken to an extreme, becomes a lie. Yet the Bible, understood as one would understand any book, is the truth. On this I stand.

Pastors stand in their pulpits and speak of how God led them to this passage or that and how God led them to preach on this particular subject. That sounds so holy and righteous that we sit in awe and listen to the message God has given our pastor. There is, however, a problem to that… I have noticed that in almost every case, God leads them to preach happy sermons on happy verses. That is interrupted by the appearance of sermons on tithing when the church treasury is falling behind. Sometimes it appears to me that not tithing is the only sin committed by the parishioners; it is certainly the only sin that God leads his pastors to preach against.

This has led to today’s very lopsided church. We see and understand the love, mercy and grace of God but we cannot comprehend the wrath, judgment, holiness and righteousness of God. Our God neither sees nor judges sin, and He certainly does not call his children to repentance or punish them when they are disobedient.

Revelation 3: 14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation.

15 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.

What God says of the church in Laodicea is certainly appropriate and easy to apply to the church of today. Many scholars have seen the order of the seven churches as being chronological and historical. If that is so, Laodicea would represent the church of the last day, our church.

This deception has led many Christians to believe that Jesus died to save America and their cushy lifestyle. If you think I am wrong, watch a Trump Rally. We are overloaded with so called “CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS”. Our churches can tolerate abortion, transgenderism, and child genital mutilation… we can tolerate anything as long as they leave us alone. If I, or anyone else, start speaking of judgment or the fall of the United States, we are met by the unbelieving cries of “Shut Up! God loves America too much to ever judge her and she will never fall… God has sent Donald Trump to save us in our sin and empower us to continue in our sin… The God of the New Testament would never judge or destroy America; He is a God of Love, Grace and Mercy!”

2 Chronicles 7: 19 “But if you turn aside and forsake my statutes and my commandments that I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them, 20 then I will pluck you up from my land that I have given you, and this house that I have consecrated for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

In the part of 2 Chronicles Chapter seven we never read, God promises to destroy Israel, and the Temple dedicated to his Name and to scatter his people. On the very day the Temple was dedicated, God Almighty promised to destroy it if they leave him and will not repent.

Jeremiah 14:11 The Lord said to me: “Do not pray for the welfare of this people.

They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.”

Ignoring everything God had said on the day the Temple was dedicated, the prophets in Israel held on to and promulgated “Happy Lies”. Jeremiah faced the same problem the Watchmen of today are facing; for every watchman, there are a hundred false prophets. And the people love the false prophets and hate the watchmen.

Jeremiah 14: 18 If I go out into the field,
    behold, those pierced by the sword!
And if I enter the city,
    behold, the diseases of famine!
For both prophet and priest
ply their trade through the land
    and have no knowledge.’”

Today, as in Jeremiah’s day, being a pastor or a prophet can be a very good trade; it is good business. There are, however, rules that must be followed if one would eat well and live in a really nice house… You must preach only the “Happy Verses” and you must give only “Happy Words”. If you follow the rules, the offerings are large and your congregation grows… Break the rules, and you end up like Jeremiah… in the bottom of a well, looking up.

15:1 Then the Lord said to me, “Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my heart would not turn toward this people. Send them out of my sight, and let them go! And when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go?’ you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord:

“‘Those who are for pestilence, to pestilence,
    and those who are for the sword, to the sword;
those who are for famine, to famine,
    and those who are for captivity, to captivity.’

There comes a point of no return. Jeremiah preached the Word God gave him. The people did not listen but rather clung desperately to the words, dreams, and visions of their “Happy Priests” and their “Happy Prophets”. Everything Jeremiah said came true. The “Happy Prophets” suffered and died… Jeremiah lived. It is another story, but Jeremiah ended up with a remnant of Jews in Egypt. These Jews had seen the words of Jeremiah fulfilled in front of their eyes, yet when he gave them a message from God, there in Egypt, they looked him in the face and said, “We will not listen to you…” That group died… all of them, but Jeremiah would live to see another day.

Lamentations 2:
17
The Lord has done what he purposed;
    he has carried out his word,
which he commanded long ago;
    he has thrown down without pity;
he has made the enemy rejoice over you
    and exalted the might of your foes.

Then came Nebuchadnezzar… You really need to read the entire second chapter of Lamentations. We do not have time here, but Jeremiah is acting like a FOX reporter. He is walking through the streets of Jerusalem, reporting what he sees… There are dead bodies everywhere, women are killing and eating their own babies to try to avoid starvation… After surveying the whole situation, Jeremiah concludes: “The Lord has done what he purposed…”

Revelation 13: 5 And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven. 7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, 8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear:

10 If anyone is to be taken captive,

    to captivity he goes;

if anyone is to be slain with the sword,

    with the sword must he be slain.

Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.

That day is upon us, but the “Happy Prophets” and the “Happy Pastors” continue to spout off their lies… and the people love it!

Let me close with this warning to you, the Christian of today…

Jeremiah 14:14 …The Lord said to me: “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.”

And to the Happy Prophets and Pastors of today, this warning…

Jeremiah 14:15 …Thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although I did not send them, and who say, ‘Sword and famine shall not come upon this land’: By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed. 16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem, victims of famine and sword, with none to bury them—them, their wives, their sons, and their daughters. For I will pour out their evil upon them.

You have been warned!

David…

TRIBULATION COMES

The Promise of God is not that He will keep you from Tribulation but that He will go through the tribulation with you and take you to Glory with him when it is finished…

TRIBULATION COMES

Matthew 24:

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Revelation 13:

And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven. Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.

If anyone has an ear, let him hear:

10 If anyone is to be taken captive,
    to captivity he goes;
if anyone is to be slain with the sword,
    with the sword must he be slain.

Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.

Paul writes:

1 Corinthians 15:

51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

John, the Apostle, wrote:

Revelation 11:15

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

Revelation 19:

Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
    the Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and exult
    and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
    and his Bride has made herself ready;
it was granted her to clothe herself
    with fine linen, bright and pure”—

for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

And the angel said[a] to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.” 10 Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 20:

Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.

In the light of these Scriptures, I would suggest to you that you have been lied to and taught a doctrine which calms your fears and feeds your daydreams, but violates both common sense and plain Scripture…

  • Ten of the original Apostles died as martyrs.
  • Stephen was stoned.
  • James lost his head.
  • Peter was crucified upside down.
  • Paul suffered tremendous persecution and died a martyr.
  • More than seventy million Christians have been martyred.
  • More than 16,000 Christians have been martyred in Nigeria over the last four years.

The lives of Christians are even now threatened in almost every nation in the world. The idea that Jesus is somehow obligated to rapture the church before any American Christians are called on to suffer or die for Jesus is absurd and narcissistic.

Paul, who would lose his head in a Roman prison, wrote these words:

Philippians 3:

Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— 10 that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.

In the light of all of these things, some will continue to cling to happy doctrines and be deceived and drug into Hell by the great deceiver himself…

2 Thessalonians 2:

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

If you insist on holding on to false and deceptive doctrine, you will receive the delusion sent from God, you will believe the lie, and you will be damned because you refused to love the truth and decided to defend your doctrine instead…

It is he who endures to the end who will be saved… He who holds on to the false hope of an early rapture is not going to make it…

The Promise of God is not that He will keep you from Tribulation but that He will go through the tribulation with you and take you to Glory with him when it is finished…

A CONTINUUM OF FAITH

Christianity is full of extremes, is there a Biblical middle ground?

Christianity is full of extremes. Some extremes are left and liberal, others are right and religious… How do we find the middle ground? If Bible Truth is the center, the further out you go to either side, the closer you get to heresy… Calvin or Arminius? Hebrew Roots and old fashioned Pentecostalism on one side, Hyper Grace, the NAR and Christian Nationalism on the other. Do you have to be on one extreme or the other, or is there a Biblical middle ground?
