Saturn’s Day or the Lord’s Day?

I address followers advocating for Saturday worship, asserting that the Pope has no power to change the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. I cite biblical references to support Sunday worship, emphasize Christian liberty in choosing worship days, and warn against legalism while encouraging personal conviction and understanding in selecting worship days.

Some of my followers are into the Law… Seventh Day Adventists, Hebrew Roots and the like… They are really into Saturday worship and they keep sending me memes and articles explaining why I should go to church on Saturday and informing me that the Pope changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. I am compelled to answer them.

My answer is threefold:

1. The Pope did not, could not, and has not changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. Perhaps in his own mind and the minds of his slaves, but he has no such power. Saturday is the Sabbath and Sunday is the Lord’s Day. Most Christians choose to meet for worship on the Lord’s Day. Legalists, Adventists, Hebrew Roots and others seek to earn Celestial Brownie Points and a ticket to Heaven by insisting on meeting on Saturn’s Day, better known as Saturday.

2. Acts 20:7 On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread…
The first church service recorded in the Bible was held “On the first day of the week”, Sunday…
If the church in Acts met on Sunday, I reserve the right to meet and worship with other Christians on Sunday… The Lord’s Day.

3. Romans 14 is the Christian’s Law of Liberty. I have had Hebrew Roots persons argue that Paul was a heretic when I quoted this chapter…
Romans 14:5 One person considers one day to be above another day. Someone else considers every day to be the same. Each one must be fully convinced in his own mind…
I am convinced, in my own mind, that all days, for the Christian, are equal. I choose to meet and worship on Sunday because my brothers and sisters in Christ have chosen to meet on the Lord’s Day and not the Sabbath. I do not believe that Sunday is the Sabbath. If all my friends and family met every Thursday morning at 2 AM, I would have no religious opposition to meeting for worship at 2 AM every Thursday… I might be sleepy and my body might complain, but I would have no Biblical argument against it.

If you want to meet on Saturday… go for it! Just understand that you can loose your salvation by seeking justification through the Law…
Galatians 5:4 You who are trying to be justified by the law are alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace.

With that in mind, feel free to meet and worship on any day you choose… Just quit telling me that the Pope changed the Sabbath and that I am a catholicized pagan because I worship on the Lord’s Day and not Saturn’s Day.

CONTEXT AND THE JUDGMENT OF GOD

Extremists love to quote Scripture out of context.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath…
The extremists always use the first part of the verse and finish it with three little dots…
Did you never wonder what they are so carefully omitting?????

As born again Christians, we are spared from the wrath and judgment of God as concerns our personal sin. However, as with many issues, Christians, and in particular Western Christians, have taken this truth to a heretical extreme.

And yes, truth pushed to the ridicules extreme becomes heresy.

The wrath from which we are saved is not the tribulation, or the wrath of God on the earth in general, it is the wrath poured out in Hell against sinners who have rejected Jesus.

Extremists love to quote Scripture out of context.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath…

The extremists always use the first part of the verse and finish it with three little dots…

Did you never wonder what they are so carefully omitting?????

The whole verse reads “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.” Even reading the verse in its entirety tells you that it is speaking of salvation versus damnation. If you read the entire passage, you cannot ever make that mean the wrath of God poured out on a sinful world in the tribulation. In its proper context, wrath is the opposite of salvation. We are speaking of Heaven and Hell, not the tribulation…

But… Pretribbers needed a proof text and the first half of that verse, removed from context, would work to support their fantasy, and it is such a happy lie!

When God judges nations and peoples, Christians often get hurt. The good news is that God goes through it with them, and when they die, they go to Heaven and not Hell. Many nations have been judged by God and destroyed. When that happened, Christians were hurt and killed. When the river flooded Kerrville, Christians died…

Speaking of the days in which we now live and the days soon to come, Jesus said…

Matthew 24:9 “Then they will hand you over for persecution, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of My name.

John, writing of Christians living through the Tribulation, penned these words:

Revelation 13:9 If anyone has an ear, he should listen:

10 If anyone is destined for captivity,
into captivity he goes.
If anyone is to be killed with a sword,
with a sword he will be killed.

This demands the perseverance and faith of the saints.

This demands the perseverance of who???
You!

THE AMERICAN CHURCH HAS LED THE WORLD IN THE GREAT APOSTASY…

To hear the Gospel from the average American preacher is to understand that Jesus died to make you fat, rich and happy in your mansion overlooking downtown Babylon… As long as you attend church, raise your hands, sing loudly, and throw money in the plate, you will be healed of every disease, protected from all harm, and given riches beyond your wildest imagination… If it doesn’t work out that way, it is your fault, not the preacher’s… you either didn’t have enough faith or more likely, didn’t put enough money in the plate…

Get a handle on reality, it isn’t just Stephen, James, Paul and Peter who suffered and died for Jesus, more than seventy million martyrs have followed them and hundreds of Christians are being given the opportunity to suffer and die for Jesus today… Right now!

If you will follow him, God will have you where He wants you, when He wants you to be there. You will suffer what God wills you to suffer and you will die on the day and at the hour He has determined. If you do not follow him, good luck!

There is another verse that heretics love to rip from context and misinterpret… a verse hanging on the wall in many Christian homes… Only again, just the first part of the verse, ending in those famous three dots that represent the part that your preacher likely never read you.

Philippians 3:10 My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection…

Again… Get a handle on reality! Look at the context!

Philippians 3:10 My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 assuming that I will somehow reach the resurrection from among the dead.

Context changes everything!!!!!

Is your goal to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, or would you really like to just stop after the first phrase? The truth is that those who do not want to know him in the fellowship of His sufferings or to be conformed to His death, will NEVER know him in the power of his resurrection!

CIRCULAR REASONING

People keep insisting that there is…
A last trump before the last trump.
A first resurrection before the first resurrection
A rapture before the tribulation.

People keep insisting that there is…
A last trump before the last trump.
A first resurrection before the first resurrection
A rapture before the tribulation.

Jesus said the dead will be raised “After the Tribulation”
He never spoke of any other.
Paul says that the dead will be raised at the Last Trump.
He never explained that it really wasn’t the Last Trump…
Like a last before the last kind of thing…
Paul says we cannot be raptured before the dead are raised.
He never mentions any exceptions.
John witnesses a resurrection after the tribulation and calls it the
“First Resurrection”…

Where are the Scriptures that tell us that
“Last doesn’t really mean last”
and
“First doesn’t really mean first”
and
“After” doesn’t really mean after”
???????????????????????????????????????????

I know God is good.
I know the Rapture happens.
I know that tribulation is bad.
That does not prove a PreTrib Rapture…

Before you decide that God has to rapture you before you get hurt… Remember Paul’s sufferings and death, Stephen, James, and more than seventy million Christian Martyrs since…

Why, if God let them suffer and die, do you think that you are so much better than they ever were, that God just has to rapture you before you get hurt?????

How big is your ego?

THE TERRIBLE POWER OF DOCTRINE

There is an awful power in the doctrine you are taught…

There is an awful power in the doctrine you are taught…

A Mormon preacher can allow his people to read the Bible without fear… He knows that whatever they read, they will interpret it in such a way as to make it agree with Mormon doctrine…

If you ask students from
Baptist backgrounds,
Methodist backgrounds,
and Assemblies of God backgrounds,
to write a term paper telling you what a particular Bible passage means…
you will look at those papers
and truly believe
that they were all reading totally different stories,
from very different books…

I have done so… It is amazing!

Invariably, they will twist the Scripture and interpret it in a manner consistent with the doctrine they have been taught for so many years…

One of the most difficult things a Bible teacher has to do is to convince students to tell them what a verse or a passage actually says and not what their preacher told them that it said…

If you will ask God for help and determine in your heart to read the Bible and understand what it actually says… You will be in shock and awe for weeks or months… It is absolutely amazing to find out that the Bible does not agree with the assumptions and presuppositions of that most holy doctrine once laid on you…

I promise you… You will be surprised and amazed by what the Bible actually says…

ON THE PRETRIB RAPTURE

This post discusses the belief in resurrection and the return of Christ, contrasting scriptural references from Paul, Jesus, and John about the order of resurrection and rapture. It challenges the PreTribulation position, arguing that this belief lacks direct scriptural support and emphasizes relying on contextual interpretation rather than selective readings.

  1. Paul wrote that we who remain alive shall not precede those who have died in Christ.
  2. Jesus said that the dead will be raised “after the tribulation.”
  3. John, in the book of revelation places “the first resurrection” after the tribulation.

1 Thessalonians 4:

The Coming of the Lord

13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord,[d] that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God.

And the dead in Christ will rise first.

17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Matthew 24:

The Coming of the Son of Man

29 “Immediately after the tribulation

of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and

they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Revelation 20:

4 (…) They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.

This is the first resurrection.

So, the PreTrib believer denies that saying that yes, that is true, but we know there is a secret resurrection and the rapture before the first resurrection and before the tribulation…

Pushed for Scriptural proof, they provide selected verses (and pieces of verses) from the above quoted passages and add a bunch of verses that say God is good… When someone points out that none of the verses they have trimmed, reinterpreted and quoted without context actually say that there will be a PreTrib rapture, they tell us that we must read between the lines and understand that while God never said so, He certainly implied that the rapture would happen before the tribulation…

And then, they question our Christianity, our faith, and our sanity because we lack the gnosis needed in order to believe in a PreTrib Rapture…

Why the Pretrib Rapture Fairytale?

Western Christians fear the Tribulation in ways that would baffle a Christian suffering persecution in the real world…

WHY AND HOW?

For many years, a very real website offered $5,000 US to anyone in the world who could produce a Scripture that spoke of a Pretrib Rapture. After more than a decade, they shut down the page with their money still in their pockets.

For almost as many years, I have asked for the same Scripture. I have received many Scriptures from people who told me that they were the answer to my request. Most of the Scriptures spoke to the goodness of God and a couple, at least on the surface, out of context and cleverly misinterpreted, almost seemed to support the idea…

Of course, when you read the paragraph before that verse and the paragraph after that verse, it becomes quite obvious that it says no such thing…

I cannot count the number of people who have told me that if I understood that God is good, the Tribulation is bad, and that we will follow the dead and ascend to meet Christ at his return… even though God never really spoke of a PreTrib Rapture, I would understand that He really meant to but that it somehow escaped his attention…

How did Satan sell this childish and silly doctrine? He gave the idea to a Jesuit Priest, who, writing under a pen name and pretending to be a converted Jew, put it in a book, written in Latin.

He then got a copy of the book into the hands of the very first Pentecostal preacher in England, who translated it into English and fell in love with the idea.

He then sent two Americans to England, C. I. Scofield, a would be Bible scholar, and D. L. Moody, an uneducated shoe salesman turned Evangelist.

Scofield twisted the Scripture and put the idea of a pretrib rapture in his Study Bible as if it were Bible truth.

D. L. Moody put it into his sermons, and terrified sinners flooded the altars… Suddenly, he was the most famous Evangelist in America. When pastors and other evangelists saw the numbers, they bought the doctrine… Biblical or not, it filled the pews and the offering plates…

More than that, sinners, terrified that they might be caught sinning at Christ’s sudden return and face the Tribulation, caught the dream…

Fear and wishful thinking are powerful motivational tools… Ask any evangelist…

It also helped that Christians in America had faced no (zero) persecution in several centuries… You fear what you do not know… You fear the Tribulation in ways that would baffle a Christian suffering persecution in the real world…

But that begs the question, why?

Very, very simple… If you can sell the church on the idea that they will escape the Tribulation, they will stumble into the Tribulation, frightened and unprepared… The chances that they will accept and worship the Antichrist and take his mark are increased ten thousand fold… You can rob God Almighty of the souls of the people He died to save…

When Americans tell me about the rapture, they tell me how bad the Tribulation will be. They might even suffer and be forced to die for Jesus!!!!! A loving God would never allow an American Christian to suffer like that! Yes, Paul and so many more suffered and died for Jesus… BUT THEY WEREN’T AMERICANS!!!!!

JESUS IS NOT RETURNING FOR A SINFUL, NASTY, UGLY, MESSED UP BRIDE, A BRIDE CONVINCED THAT HE DIED TO MAKE THEM RICH, HEALTHY AND COMFY IN BABYLON!!!!

BRIDE, MEET THE REFINERS FIRE!

DO NOT BE FOOLED…

Challenging Accepted Church Doctrines

A critique of the rigid adherence to denominational doctrines by Protestants, Evangelicals, and similar groups, highlighting the tendency to defend beliefs without seeking true understanding. The discussion emphasizes the contrast between accepted interpretations of scripture and the actual teachings of the Bible, urging readers to reconsider their acceptance of dogma over truth.

This is as great a picture as could exist when it comes to explaining what I have been trying to say to protestants and evangelicals…

Defending The Doctrine Of Peter As The First Pope

Before you laugh at a book defending the Papacy of Saint Peter, ask yourself how many stupid and unsupportable doctrines, accepted by your church but rejected by the rest of Christ’s Church, you are determined to defend at all costs…

I would dare to say that, among my followers, there are very few who would stand up and defend the doctrine that declares that Peter was the first pope… Nonetheless, the photo posted here is of a book by a man who, having believed the doctrine, seeks to defend it…

You may laugh at that, but Evangelicals, Pentecostals, Protestants, and Charismatics all do exactly the same thing… We never seem to search for truth… we simply assume that the founders of our little group discovered “THE TRUTH”! We accept their “truth”, as being the “Ultimate Truth”, and we will defend that “truth” to the death…

Therefore, when we find a verse or passage that seems to line up with our accepted “truth”, we rejoice… We memorize those verses, put those verses on beautiful plaques and decorate our walls with them… we meditate on them, study them, and share them…

But, how many times have you seen a decretive poster bearing Matthew 24:9?
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.”

When we find a verse or passage that would seem to violate our accepted truth, we feel shocked and threatened… If we are no more than a church member, we will tell ourselves that such things are too great for us, go on and try to forget it. If we are a ThD professor at a prestigious denominational seminary, we will attempt, at all costs, to interpret that passage in such a way as to force it to agree with our accepted “truth”.

Many thousands of doctoral dissertations have been written in defense of accepted doctrine and denominational truth. The people who write these papers have no interest whatsoever in discovering the truth…

The Truth will set you free…

Accepted, exclusive, denominational truth will bind you tightly and imprison you forever…

How many verses and Bible passages have you cleverly reinterpreted, twisted, ground up and pounded until they fit your “truth”?

Scripture is ultimate truth. The doctrinal “truths” of your denomination are built on assumptions and presuppositions, they must never be blindly accepted as unquestionable truth…

David…

SEVERED AND DAMNED

The doctrine you have accepted would force you to conclude that you can be severed from that to which you were never attached and fall from where you never stood… It would insist that you may enter Heaven without Christ and apart from grace…

I have been preaching the points made in this video for a very long time…

Some may have believed me, but the majority have placed church doctrine and their system of theology above the Scriptures and use systematic Theology and doctrine as a meat grinder through which they grind all Scripture, making it malleable and easy to conform to their assumptions and presuppositions…

You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. Galatians 5:4

JUDGMENT HAPPENS

The content warns that God’s patience with people has limits, as illustrated in Jeremiah 14:11-14. Despite fasting and offerings, God will not listen to the people because false prophets falsely assure them of peace. The author claims upcoming judgment in 2025 and criticizes those who mislead others with deceptive prophecies.

There is an end to God’s Patience

Jeremiah 14:11 The Lord said to me: “Do not pray for the welfare of this people. 12 Though they fast, I will not hear their cry, and though they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.”

13 Then I said: “Ah, Lord God, behold, the prophets say to them, ‘You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place.’” 14 And the Lord said to me: “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.

The sons of the prophets are still plying their trade, selling happy prophecies and making good money off of the fools who believe them…

9/11 was the warning. 2025 is the judgment. The prophets who would tell you that God has sent Trump to save America in her sin and empower her to continue in her sin…

PROFANED

THIS POST discusses God’s promises regarding Israel, highlighting their return to the land, the scattering of Jews, and the ensuing desolation. It emphasizes that prophecies about Israel’s significance, the trials they face, and their eventual redemption remain relevant. The video challenges interpretations that attribute these events to Satan, asserting God’s sovereignty.

God said that He would return Israel to the Land in the Last Days.

God said that the Jews would be scattered among the nations.
God said that the land would become desolate and barren.
God said that the Jews would profane his Name in every place that they went.
God said that they would become a nation in a single day.
God said that when they returned, the Land would flourish and blossom.

THOSE THINGS HAVE ALL HAPPENED!

God said that the nations would stand against Israel.
God said that Israel would be be center of the world’s attention and anger.

IT IS!

God said that the Jews would continue to profane his Name.

THEY DO!

God said that He will devastate them with war.

HE HAS AND HE WILL CONTINUE.

God said that He will make the Jews Holy and that All the world will see his glory through them.
God said that the Generation that saw the return would not pass away before the return of Jesus.
God said that “All Israel Will Be Saved”.

THESE THINGS ARE YET TO COME!

God said that He would do all these things because He is determined to fulfill his promises to the Patriarchs.

ROMANS 11:29 THE GIFTS AND THE CALLINGS OF GOD ARE IRREVOCABLE!

But there is a system of theology that teaches that all of these things were done by Satan… People who give all the glory to the Devil, insisting that he, the Devil, has fulfilled all of these promises of God and that the people God has called his own, and the nation He formed with his own Hand is a demonic work of an evil Devil…

That is the subject of this video…
