EISEGESIS

• Satan quoted Scripture to Jesus.
• Jehovah’s Witnesses quote hundreds of verses that seem to support what they want you to believe.
• Mormons quote Scripture passages by the hundreds, all of which would seem to agree with what they want you to believe.
• Presbyterians quote verses that would seem to negate free will and to say that you were saved or damned before you were born, and you have no choice in the matter.
• Baptists have half a dozen verses that, isolated and void of context, appear to say that once you are saved you can live like hell for the next sixty years and go to Heaven anyway.

That is called Eisegesis…
