Pastor Steve Cioccolanti of Discover Church in Melbourne, Australia, is a man I greatly respect. He is a godly, Bible centered pastor and one of the sharpest minds the Church has to boast of today. I watched a video that he just did, regarding Donald Trump. (The link is posted at the bottom). In the video he produces some interesting and vital facts but reaches no real conclusion. Allow me to speak to the information and to end with a rhetorical question.
My name is David but no one has ever called me “The David”. I know many people, with many different names, but none of them have ever been referred to by the article “The” followed by their first name. How significant is it then that Donald Trump is widely known as “THE DONALD?
“THE DONALD”, what does that mean? I am glad you asked.
It turns out that Donald is a Scottish, Celtic name that comes from two Celtic words:
- Dumno = world
- Val = ruler
So “The Donald” means “THE WORLD RULER”
TRUMP = TRIUMPH and / or TRUMPET
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:52
In Isaiah 44:28, the Prophet gives the Word of God,
(I am Yahweh) who says to Cyrus, “My shepherd he will fulfill all My pleasure” and says to Jerusalem, “She will be rebuilt,” and of the temple, “Its foundation will be laid.”
That was 200 years before Cyrus was born but it was Cyrus who ordered the Jews back to Jerusalem and the Temple rebuilt. God gave them his name and told them what he would do, two centuries before his birth.
That is why it is important to understand that when Jesus said, “I saw Satan fall from Heaven like lightening”, Fall like lightening, transliterated from the Aramaic He spoke, is “Barak O Bama.”
That is why the name of this very different candidate, who is being lifted up against all the power of Wall Street and Washington DC, is important. “THE WORLD RULER” TRIUMPH/TRUMPET”.
In Acts 5:38, Gamaliel says,
“38 And now, I tell you, stay away from these men and leave them alone. For if this plan or this work is of men, it will be overthrown; 39 but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You may even be found fighting against God.”
Pastor Steve suggested that Christians might not want to fight against The Donald because if this is the work of men, it will fail, but if it is God who is lifting him up, you might find yourself fighting against God. Good advice.
NOTE: The Donald, may be a national ruler but he becomes the ruler of the world.
I must end this short note with a question.

Really? How many people named Donald, on the streets of New York, are known, worldwide, by the title, “The Donald”? Can you document any other person in the world who is called, “The Donald”? Okay, let us assume that you know at least one other. How many people known as “The Donald” are running for President of the most powerful nation on earth? How many people known as, “The Donald” are winning against all the power and money of Wall Street and the combined muscle of the Washington DC Establishment on both sides of the aisle? How many of those “The Donalds” have the last name Trump? Let us understand that “The Donald” is not a name but a title. He is not “World Ruler Trump, he is “The World Ruler Trump”. Understand that God likes to do this kind of thing and has done so in many other cases over several thousand years. Think about God calling Cyrus by name, 200 years before he was born and stating specifically what he would do. Think about God telling us that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem but called a Nazarene, 700 years before He was born. You may disagree but you are totally out of line to call the idea silly. That merely points out that you do not know your God or your Bible… You seem to have very little understanding of how God works.

Not the 1st time i have heard someone say our next president will be our last president. The 1st person I heard say this was my mother a few months ago, however she doesn’t think trump will be president, she actually “fears” it will be Hillary just because she thinks ppl will vote for her, just because she’s a woman. Just like Obama was elected the 1st time because of his race. (2nd term I’ve heard because the ppl who voted for him again are just idiots).
I find the fact I’m hearing multiple ppl claim this could be our last president interesting(and a tad frightening)

I recall Trump’s first wife calling him “the Donald”, but I chalked it up to it being a cute turn of phrase by a lady who (I assumed) did not speak English as her mother tongue. I may have been mistaken about that. Hmmm. Good article, however please check out the abyndant info on his ties to the number 666. It’s not even funny. Evangelical Christians ironically, don’t know what they voted into office even though he has that number flashing around him like a neon sign.
