I have hesitated to write on the so called, “Mandela Effect” because I see it as both stupid and unbelievable. However, the videos produced and circulated on social media are highly professional and the deception is powerful. People who are my friends on Facebook are beginning to fall for the lie.
First of all, I have taught the Bible for a very long time. I have had long time Christians act in shock and denial when I told them that “Cleanliness is next to godliness” is not in the Bible. They are just sure that it is and remember reading it in their Bible. Unfortunately, it was Benjamin Franklin, not Jesus Christ who said that. The real effect that we are talking about here is the effect of misquotes that are repeated so often that they replace the original in the minds of a large percentage of the population.
The first video to circulate on social media reported that some power, emanating from CERN, in Switzerland, has changed everything from the lines in movies to verses printed in old and well-worn Bibles around the world. This is a very obvious lie, but the Psy-Ops Officer, down at CIA Headquarters in Maryland, is very smart. He understands that many things, from lines in movies to verses in the Bible, have been misquoted so often that a large percentage of the population is convinced that the misquote is genuine.
What a deal… all you have to do is write a script and have one of your “Christian” operatives on YouTube / Facebook read it in convincing tones… as if she had discovered an awful and evil plot. You tell people that their belief in a misquote is genuine. (People like to be told that they are right). Then, you play / show the original. You tell them that their memory is correct and keep reinforcing that their memory is correct. (they love you now) You keep playing / showing the original, correct version and insisting that it is wrong, it has been changed. (people love evil plots and mysteries). Then, you offer an implausible, impossible, crazy explanation… somehow, the evil folks at CERN have loosed a force that has changed movies and Bibles around the world.
I will tell you now… if such a force existed, (it doesn’t) it would change verses like John 3:16, not obscure passages in Isaiah. Such a malevolent force would not be used to change the lines in old Disney movies either, it would be used on much more important things.
The misquotes from the Bible are very common and often repeated. As a Bible teacher, I have already dealt with these misquotes many times. Congregations and Bible students are sometimes visibly upset when the preacher / teacher begins to teach on those verses. I know those verses, as they read in your Bible, are correct because I have dealt with them before… long before CERN was ever started.
Admit it… you were very flattered when the girl on the video told you that you were right… It was your memory that was right… she told you that you were right and you liked that. When she told you that CERN had changed your Bible, you believed her because she remembered it like you did and she, being on YouTube, was obviously an expert…
Mark Twain was not a man I would quote on religion but he had a great degree of worldly wisdom. He said, “It is easier to fool a man than to convince him that he has been fooled.” The proof of that will be seen in how many people side with the Psy-Ops Officer down at the CIA and tell me that I am crazy.
They are playing with your mind… they want to shake your faith in God. After all, if the folks at CERN can change the words in your Bible, where is God? Relax. CERN is evil and evil things are happening in Switzerland. The Angel of the Pit is about to escape and CERN will most likely play a part in that. That said, they have not changed the words in your Bible. The CIA fellow who did this will burn in Hell if he doesn’t repent… Don’t let him take you along for the ride.

Scripture says that in Christ, all things are held together, “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” (Col 1:17). That would include His word, which He says, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.” (Matt 24:35). Christ has authority over all things, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” (Matt 28:18). That would include CERN and any effect manifesting or perpetuating from it. God has decreed that His word stands forever, “The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.” (Isaiah 40:8)….”Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.” (Psalm 119:89).
If people are already being deceived about the trustworthiness of God’s eternal word, then how can they possibly expect to make it through the “strong delusion” yet to come (2 Thess 2:11)? It is long past time for people to get their house in order. People are seeking God in every YouTube video, documentary, website and book….every place but the one place He can be found–their Bible.

i am a Christian who has hidden Gods word in my heart as psalms 119;11 says. satan is capable of alterin words in the bible, just not Jesus who I S THE LIVING WORD OF GOD. if the written word were infallible than other translations would not be possible.

It always did, you just do not remember. I have preached on “bottles” and had to explain that they were wineskins. I can give you quotes from 400 year old commentaries that say so. If you pull out any old Bible dictionary or concordance and look up the word “stuff” you will find it… They are playing with your mind. They cannot change the words in the Bible or even a Disney movie but they can play with your mind and they are very, very, very good at that…

The question is, are you of the world, or in the world but not of the world? Where are your memories based?
God’s word is in the heavens and resides in our souls. We know what is right and wrong without being told by a book of ink and paper. There are many that will be wilfully ignorant to the tricks of satan. The Lord warned us of this coming in several places and two of them are listed below.
I personally remember and KNOW Jesus was crucified on a cross. The NIV copy I have had not been changed yet and said: 1 Peter 2:24New International Version (NIV)
24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sin sand live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
The other two I have, KJV and ESV have already been manipulated.

You just quoted all those scriptures out of context. If we cannot trust The word of God what can we trust. God says his word will remain for ever. I would rather trust God than trust in what man says. Wake up your mind is being played with. God is not an author of confusion. Learn your Bible.

“Stuff” was there, all right, even if you never noticed. (Many people assume that “stuff” wasn’t ever in the KJV because they have been used to reading — or being read to out of — certain not-actually-KJV Bibles such as the “New KJV” or the “American KJV” or the “Open KJV” that are best called “non-KJVs in KJV’s clothing.”
The word “stuff” is not some modern slang invention — “stuff” existed before the KJV was even begun. For instance, Shakespeare used “stuff” in COMEDY OF ERRORS in 1594 — seventeen years before the KJV. Here are two lines from Act Five, Scene One of that play, with the word “stuff” used just as we use it in our own time:

“Stuff” is also in every _real_ KJV, clear back to the first printing in the year 1611. So is “bottles.”
“Bottles,” back then, meant _*any*_ liquid-container that could be picked up and poured out of. The most common and inexpensive form of bottle was made of leather, and was sometimes (not often) called a “wineskin.” Later on, when bottles made of glass became easier to make and cheaper to buy, the word “bottle” started to be used primarily for the glass kind (as this was becoming the typical kind), so people who talked about leather bottles started to not call the leather ones “bottles” any more … because they had to finally start making it clear that they specifically meant the old skin kind, not the new glass kind.

I am both a commercial pilot and a USCG captain. In 1994 I sailed my sailboat from Los Angeles to Miami and spend 9 months in transit. My records are meticulous.
Like most people, I was beyond sceptical of the so-called Mandela effects, especially as they concerned the changing of land masses. I decided to debunk them with my own logbooks and diaries of my trip.
I went to the several online mapping systems that pilots and captains use for trip planning. When I put in the lat and lon for my anchorages along the route I took, I found something that took me by something I can’t dilute with the word surprise. What I found destroyed my reality. I searched 12 sets of lat. lon. before I stopped and re-evaluated. ALL 12 that I searched were misplaced from their locations by anything from 22 nautical miles to as much as 55 nautical miles. That makes me the worst navigator ever or it makes the claims of others legitimate.
I teach navigation. I’ve been a pilot since 1979. I have been a licenses captain since 1994. I am a married man of 30 years with 2 children. I have never been jailed, used drugs or any other thing that would point me to being of low character.
You can believe my words or not. You can contact me directly if you wish. You can see my records to further your own curiosity but you cannot impune my findings since I actually have home video that in single scenes will show the outside anchorages in question and the face of my GPS unit that shows the government broadcasted GPS location coordinates. If anyone questions what I say, they may meet me in person and view these things for themselves. I suppose you can claim I am making an elaborate hoax but why would I, how could I and what would I possibly have to gain from it other than ridicule and possibly worse?

We have early handwritten manuscripts and they have not changed. We have thousands of books and sermons, written over 400 years that quote those verses and they have not changed. If you talk to Pastors who actually know the Word and have preached it for many years, they will assure you that it is your memory that is faulty and not your Bible. This was a psyops operation by the CIA or a similar organization. They are playing with your mind. Find all the old commentaries you can find and look up those verses. They have not changed because “God is not a man that He should lie.”

understand that each translation of gods word uses different wording. Jesus Christ is the true word of God. Believe Him, not the word that’s been altered. I have memorized scripture, and ‘stuff’ was not there.

I’m a little late to the convo but the now famous “wolf and the lamb” ME scripture seems convincing at first but a little research and you will see that “the wolf and the lamb” was a common told fable dating back 100’s of years because the wolf is the natural “enemy” of the lamb. When you really think about it, wolf makes much more sense than lion, ESPECIALLY in the context of the scripture. A lot of this ME stuff is neat, but so far can all be explained pretty easily. Until I see something undeniable, like, Jesus rose on the 4th day or something lol, it will just be a case of people mis-remembering things.

How about John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him SHALL not perish but have eternal life. But now the KJV reads: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him SHOULD not perish but have eternal life.
SHALL was changed to SHOULD, so an assertion was changed to a suggestion. Don’t worry. The longer this goes on, the more examples you’re going to find. The people looking for Truth will find it. I started out believing this Mandela thing was a hoax until you find something you know to be truth, changed. Like many things in this life, none of it is real until it happens to you.

No, I memorized it with the word “should” more than fifty years ago. It is that way in all the commentaries and it is a proper translation of the Greek word… Silliness!

Sounds like a “battle of the versions”. Different versions use different words to satisfy the needs for modern language. Deciding which literal wordage is more appropriate is a matter of doctrinal bias? I think there is mention in the bible somewhere over arguing over words? Shifting latitude /longitude should be easy to prove/disprove?

Particularly when it becomes a list of things you are sure of … for me … dilemna (not dilemma), Haas avocados (not Hass), “Build it and THEY will come” (not “Build it and HE will come.”), Pluto downgraded from planet in 2014 (downgraded from planet in 2006), Luke, I am your father (No, I am your father), Fed Reserve was never audited (now one audit in 2012 woefully ignored) and massive geography differences (with history changes to go with it). Sicily, for example, was much further from Italy than it is now; Sea of Azov was dry.
Virtually ALL skeptics either make blind assertions about faulty memory without looking at any “data” (examples) or at best a single example that they explain away(Berenstein).
If the author had checked off a list of examples and concluded they made no sense to the author that would be understandable.
I find it curious that skeptics choose NOT to post a list of examples. Perhaps that would be too revealing and … perhaps … wouldn’t support their agenda/position.
In today’s world we have lost the ability to form our an opinion. We are told. Don’t be told.
Be bold. Form an opinion. Compare your recollection to the current state. I guarantee you will be surprised.

The KJB has 100’s of grammatical errors now. The King James has “we be” in it. Awkward sentence structures that are new. The golden rule has changed. Judge not verse is now perverse in meaning. Get right with The Living Word while there is yet time.

Jesus taught in parables. He never taught in proverbs, that has a completely different meaning. I know my bible and I know all print is being supernaturally changed. John 16 now has Jesus teaching us in PROVERBS. It used to say parables. I am not miscremembering scripture. God is no liar. This is the strong delusion Christ warned us would come. We must stand united, and discern these things that are happening and it is by His hand that He is allowing it. I trust Him with all my heart and soul. I never dreamed our world could change the way that it is- landmarks, paintings, continents, sculpture and the written word all altered from our memory. And it is happening. AI isn’t even here yet and it will be soon. Let us be loving towards one another during the dark time that is quickly approaching. I weep for those who do not know the written word, and Christ as I do. They will be misguided and thrown into chaos. We must all help one another by respecting the word of God and lifting one another up with hope and prayer. It will be alright. We were told to WATCH, and LOVE one another.

It is real. We are not calling God a liar. He warned about the Mandela Effect in Daniel 7:25, Amos 8:11-14, 2 Thessalonians 2. Scoffers will deny it (2 Peter 3:3-4) and we remember what used to be because of the Holy Spirit bringing to our remembrance (John 14:26). John 5:39-40 warns about Bible idolatry where people worship the scriptures above God himself.

I do not feel that cern changed anything. I feel the opening between worlds. All are similar but have noticeable differences. Not everyone sees them as some are from this world and others are from other worlds/dimensions. If you are from this place of course you will feel all is has it has always been.
